How do you access the throne room / Alikhan content? No amount of exploring seems to proc the throne room aside from meeting the lion and I see references to jobs and rats but have yet to actually see them.

Same. I have explored countless times, but I can't advance the game cause the throne room won't trigger. Whats weird is on a previous version of the game i didn't have that problem...

I'll have a look and see if the triggers are working correctly, but progression isn't solely tied to exploring.


Some of the Landmark content progresses the story, and resting at the player camp can sometimes trigger scenes, one of which leads into the Alikhan Bad Ending

Figured it out, was a spelling mistake in a variable, "Throne Room" instead of "ThroneRoom".

I know "Throne Room" is more correct,so i'll make a visual update later, for now though the actual landmark should return.

I tested it to make sure the changes wouldn't mess with save data, but if you encounter any issues please let me know!

other issue I noticed is a lot of the longer texts go off the screen, regardless of if it's windowed or fullscreen

I'll keepworking on it, and i'll also take a look at fixing up the text boxes so they dontgo off screen, and cutting down scenes with too much text.

I’m incredibly motivated to see this project through to the end and ensure it’s something truly special. That said, writing, programming, and working with artists, can be both time-consuming and expensive.

I do have a Patreon to help with costs, though I completely understand if it’s not something people are interested in.

just curious, will we have status conditions that effect portraits/poses? no im not just meaning hypnosis, things like diffrent flavors of pinned (slime, chains, ect), burns showing burnt clothing, that kinda stuff.

A high submission event with the knights has an option that has no scene attached, giving the "No scene found for: knight harrass - submissive." message.

Additionally it seems to have become impossible to find the kobold's quarters, progress past the first dream or find Lone's combat encounter from the explore menu; that is, using the itch.io's download. Lone's, Rubim's & Scarlet's side story seem to be fine - but for some reason saving doesn't seem to save which stage of someone's side story you're on. I tried saving before the throne room fight but upon reloading the save it starts back at a far earlier event. I don't know if it's because the kobold quarters or the dreams don't progress but it's still impossible, for me at least, to see any Alikhan content.

I'll take a look and see what might be causing those crashes, might be a scene that's missing a variable with Lancet, and an issue with the boss fight.

The kobold quarter should be unlocked by visiting the armoury and doing the story scene there, and the second dream unlocks after the kobold story scene.

Lone's encounter being inaccessible is odd though, cause I didn't touch it, though I recall having future plans which meant he would be unrepeatable once you beat him, so I can check to see if it's still in there, and can remove it along with a save that will restore the scene for you when you next loadthe game.


For the knight, a lot of the lewd scenes planned are not in the game yet, but the nsfw content is the primary focus of 0.28, so that's something that will be fully fleshed out in the future in any case.

Edit:
1. Lone was removing itself from the explore list on victory, so I'll change that.
2. Crash with Lancet Landmark is caused by the new rogue sprite's positions not being set properly, simple enough to sort out.
2.a Noticed a bug with the character expressions, so I'm making adjustments
3. Fixed up some UI issues, checked out the alikhan victory scene and noticed a broken transition, but couldn't replicate the crash. Will spend a bit more time looking for it, but if I can't, I'll just push the fixes i've already done for now after a bit more personal testing.

I appreciate your comment and I apologise for the delay.

I've been working on version .28 and when I test the path that leads to the throneroom, it seems to save the landmark without issue.

I'm unsure if I've simply fixed it in the upcoming update, or if there was an issue with the saving and loading, it might be best to start a new game and see if it fixes it for .27, and if not, I plan on releasing a tester version of .28 on my discord in the near future so that I can receive feedback before pushing it live, so feel free to join if you would like to access more of the content as well as the .28 content as soon as it's available

Just to let you all know, the game hosting site known as Itch, is now shadowbanning all types of NSFW content, and is even removing some entirely depending on the type of content.

Since I use Itch primarily to measure the popularity of the project, I figured it would be important to share this here too.

We have “deindexed” all adult NSFW content from our browse and search pages. We understand this action is sudden and disruptive, and we are truly sorry for the frustration and confusion caused by this change. Recently, we came under scrutiny from our payment processors regarding the nature of some content hosted on itch.io. Due to a game titled No Mercy, which was temporarily available on itch.io before being banned back in April, the organization Collective Shout launched a campaign against Steam and itch.io, directing concerns to our payment processors about the nature of certain content found on both platforms. Our ability to process payments is critical for every creator on our platform. To ensure that we can continue to operate and provide a marketplace for all developers, we must prioritize our relationship with our payment partners and take immediate steps towards compliance. This is a time critical moment for itch.io. The situation developed rapidly, and we had to act urgently to protect the platform’s core payment infrastructure. Unfortunately, this meant it was not realistic to provide creators with advance notice before making this change. We know this is not ideal, and we apologize for the abruptness of this change. We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of content to ensure we can meet the requirements of our payment processors. Pages will remain deindexed as we complete our review. Once this review is complete, we will introduce new compliance measures. For NSFW pages, this will include a new step where creators must confirm that their content is allowable under the policies of the respective payment processors linked to their account. Part of this review will see some pages being permanently removed from itch.io. Affected accounts will be notified via their account’s email address from our support address. You can reply to that email if you have any follow up questions. We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenging period.
