Unreal Engine - Sapphire Safari [v0.22a] [Kinky Fridays]

I've been following this game for a while, just hoping for it to get better. But it simply hasn't it. First off, one of my biggest gripes is that theres no jump button. They built an open world game and didn't program a jump button. If I wanted movement as bad as Skylanders, I'd go play Skylanders. Even with the shitty controls, it'd be way more entertaining than this.
There's nothing to do except take pictures, walk around, and activate radio towers. After almost 3 years in development, theres nothing interesting nor entertaining about this game. Hell, I'd even say this is just a glorified tech demo at this point.
You can throw rocks, sex bombs and take pictures. Those are the only things you can do to the girls that walk around. Just ignore that this is tagged with Oral Sex or anything like that cause you will not see any of it.
And don't even get me started on the randomly placed invisible walls. Seriously, I was walking through a river, open terrain on the other side and I just come to a complete stop. Nothing in front of me, nothing to either side and I just get locked in place, only being able to move backwards. What is the point of this? Genuinely, I have to know why there a straight up invisible box in the middle of a river? And it gets better. I turn around and walk to the other side of the river and theres no invisible wall.
If you had the wall there to make sure the other side was inaccessible, I'd get it. But it just seems like you're trying to railroad the players into going a certain direction and thats not fun for the players in an open world game. If you wanted to do that, why not just make a visual novel?
All in all, for being version .20, this is hella disappointing and I really hope the Dev can lock in and make this game something people want to play cause a 1.2/5 star rating is no bueno.

Played for about 15 minutes, in a very rough state at the moment. The idea is there but the execution, not so much. The characters that roam around that you take pictures of have very janky animations and when they are masturbating, their hands are not even close to where their genitals are. Could be a great game if its given the proper time to cook. I wish the dev luck, but at the moment it's not very impressive.

-=- only photo taking... come on i have a camera i can do that in real life. not fun at all. -.- wasted my time trying see if i can do anything else. an hour running around the shitty map like lowkey not a fun game and dont think i will be coming back to this game.

The concept is there and it's a sound one. With the popularity of pokemon snap and such it's a pretty straightforward idea. Take pictures of furries and implement sex and progression. Unfortunately the end game is so far out of sight I don't really have any hope for this game.

Progress is at a glacial pace, the quality of what there is currently is mediocre at best, the overall map is fucking huge and full of nothing to do, and the core gameplay loop is all but there. There really isn't anything going for this project currently other than the prospect of what it could be when its finished. Slow movement, janky interaction, and slap on a 12 usd buy in and honestly I wouldn't go near this project for several more years and even then it likely won't even be closed to finished. Just hard pass these types of projects until they have anything worth investing time into.

v0.17 Short Review

First and second videos in picture section are currently mis-leading. Currently no sex with the wildlife and their "animations" are not nearly that polished. Right now you can make them "Fuck" each other. I put that in quotations because it's not even fap worthy. Like a mediocre SFM video but the models aren't that detailed to enjoy.

On top of that, the game isn't optimized very well. It will say it can automatically detect and configure graphic settings. Don't do this. I did and my computer was really making a noise until I went in and changed it all from ultra (I think) to medium.

Has potential and will ride or die depending on how the dev integrates the sex scenes later on. Right now a pass and an uncertainty on if that will change later down the line.

For a 0.10 version, you'd think that the main aspect, the core gameplay loop, the advertised part, would be in a playable state. You can take over 50 different photos of the same mon in the same stance, and none will be counted. Even the ones where it tells you the tags in the photo when taking them aren't picked p at the end.
Absolutely terrible. A game that is priced at 20 usd and this poor quality is just one step short of being a scam.

Game is in early production gameplay is still clunky but I see a lot of potential in this game.
Models are nice, animations are also fine, we will see in a while what progress has been made.

My FPS was away on 5 or 10 unless I keep looking to the ocean and I wasn't able to play for more than 5 minute beucause my pc gamer said "STOP BEFORE I STOP MYSELF".
When they fix this I will try again and if everything goes well is almost certanly I will give 4 star.

The fact that this game costs money under normal circumstances is, perhaps, the only thing worse than the game itself. The only good feature is that the models are quite alluring.

That's it though. The "gameplay" is you walking around in one of the worst optimized games I've ever played while enjoying one of the least competent UIs I've encountered. Is there worse? Oh yes. Is that an excuse? No.

As for the porn, there really isn't any. If you try to get one of the two or three scenes in the game, it just freezes, crashes, or refuses to actually load anything. There's no sound in it, and it's just a boring loop when you win the lottery and it works.

There is nothing in this game of value outside of its models. If someone were to rip them and make SFM porn with it, the world would be a better place .This game existing as it does only makes it a worse one.

I wish I could say good things about this game but it's impossible. Even after several updates, the game is still very buggy, and not at all pleasant to play. The pictures taken sometimes can be submitted, sometimes not, we don't know why, it's just good luck. The ia is catastrophic, and some monsters are present, are tengible, but can't be taken in picture, and don't even react to the presence of the player. It seems to be gridy as fuck, and I don't want to waste my time getting angry. Devs, if you're reading me, I hope with all my heart that you polish the game to be good. If it was just playable, it would be good enough.

Okay, I've got some things to say. There's been a lot of work done in the meantime. We can now see some gameplay and animations. The bounty system seems to work, but a lot is still very primitive. But in any case, the devs don't seem to want to give up, and really seem to want to make a real project.

This is a Pokémon Snap parody, but having the performance and bugs of Mass Effect Andromeda.

If you're able to run this game without stutter, fps drops, keybinds not working suddely or anything else mentioned to be fixed already in the changelogs, then you shall be called King.

The game runs horribly, it also fails to be sexy. On my high end PC, I wasn't pulling my top frames, which while nitpicky, is only the beginning, the gameplay is horrible. While it is a pokemon snap ripoff, the focus buttons aren't even mapped. Therefore your camera is consistently out of focus. The game is not fun, and I don't recommend for a sexyplan, a fapplay, or even a fun play.

Good models, nice lighting. Has potential, but thats all it really has. Game has been out for a year and has been sexless since its alpha release. That alone just makes me not want to recommend it, but there's a bit more than that. Other than the fact that it basically hasnt changed since release with the exception of animations, the move to Unreal, and the addition of new models, nothing in the gameplay has changed other than the map.

Until some actual updates get pumped into this game, I dont suggest playing the game. I cant suggest paying $15 for the game either, but you do whatever you want with your money. Just remember its been a year, no significant progress has been made, and the progress that has been made was going from unity to unreal.

Ik the dev usually comes here, so all Ill say is this: Nothing that you say will change what I said. Call it misinformation if you want, idrc. This is what Ive seen from your changelogs and from the gameplay itself.

EDIT: For objectivity sake, the game is still in "active development". My points still stand, though.
