Hopefully the unofficial mod can continue in the dev's permanent absence.
i played 0.3 a few years back..it looked nice! loved the stats screen with tons of info..now this...ugh...no stats screen at all and weird "combat" :/
I come back to this game periodically cause the art is good. Now I suddenly see the abandoned tag. I know the dev had some drama cause he was being an ass (don't know the details but I know if I scrolled enough in this thread I'd find everything the lad has ever fucked up ever).
Is this like a Waifston with Unlimited Pleasure where the dev kinda went crazy or is it more a Snatsgame with Twisted World where this is just a long ass wait time (since I remember Vel gutted the game for a bit or something to add in the card system everyone hates).

Dev abandoned this one to work on a new game just to turn around and abandon that one after one update. Supposedly this is to work on another new game.
Yeah, that said they've been radio-silent for 4-5 months now.
Which means either they are actually grinding it out, or simply skinwalked into greener pastures.

That is what got this game noticed.
Dev started this game to be a Karryn Clone, lost interest...
Then got into Deck Builders, lost interest...
Then got into Visual Novels, lost interest...
Then got mad at his commissioners, patrons, and community and rage quit.

Damn. If this was being updated this entire time to now with the OG version before it became a stupid card game then VN just imagine how good it could have been......

Imagine capturing lightning and then taking a good ol shit on that lightning.
Honestly if Vel just came back, published a new update in slew of 1.3 or 1.5, then people would be pretty happy again and most would sweep their anger under the rug. Shame he seems to disappeared instead. People still love these LISA style games, just check how beloved Look Outside is for example inspite how recently released it was.
