RPGM - Abandoned - Satisfy Him [v0.1.0] [Onedge]

A game in which a reasonable, clever woman with standards slowly falls for an ugly, fat, old creep and spirals into her downfall. This one should have been exactly my kind of kink and especially her mastrubation scene shows which potential it has. Sadly it seems to be abondoned. What a pitty otherwise it may easily have gotten more stars, because the gameplay itself with the different kind of values you have to handle was entertaining and not to grindy.

Let's be honest, two years to produce something like this?

The drawings fluctuate between "quite okay" and "someone drew this in paint" so it's hard to understand where the time is going to.

There's quite a few reasons to use RPG Maker, there's quite a charm to it when you use it properly, nice maps, sprites, some nice rpg elements that somewhat reminds us of 90's rpgs, this game uses none of it, generic settings and overall unmemorable.

The story, the little that is there in two years, is as generic as possible and feels rather rushed so I honestly don't understand what's the hype behind this project and moreover how do people expect a game that had 5 minutes of gameplay made in two years to ever actually become something.

Abandoned tag is there for a reason, save your time, stay away.

This title is going great so far. The current version is enough to tease what is coming, but definitely leaves a lot of room to grow. The pacing is great and really adds to the excitement the dev is building for the later sex scenes. The art is good too, if you're interested in the topics

Dont waste your time. The game is good and has potential but there nearly is no content. No Handjob, not even Kissing, nothing. Taking into consideration how often it gets updated, wait a year or two. Maybe then its somewhat worth playing. If knew how little content there i wouldn´t have played it. This really is 0.10 if not less.

Love it. Absolutely filthy. Gotta say I feel invested in this story and now I want to see how far this amazing character will go. I mean good god I love a slow burn corruption but man I'd like to see some sucking and fucking. Still 5 stars cause I love the story and I'm a sucker for a story.

Pretty good game, good art, good premise and good potential. No updates for 6 months though, so we will see... And the update will be like 1/4 of the game, max. So it will probably be finished in like 3 years or so. Considering how many of these game makers go that far without getting bored or sidetracked, its quite pessimistic for now.

Brought to you by the developer of “On Edge,” “Satisfy Him” is set in a rural village featuring a relatively small cast of characters you (Irene) and Laura (Irene’s step-daughter) can get involved with, and better yet, intimately. What a twist, right? The ringleader, dirtying his hands to corrupt the vulnerable heroines, is none other than the “(F)Ugly Bastard” Daiki.

But, say, what could you possibly want more than a good night’s sleep, a warm meal, and an eager companion in your loving arms to (consensually) hold hands together? Or, I don’t know, play confidant with some unwashed village pariah who knows not what the concepts of boundary and respect are - but, hey, who am I to tell you, anyway?

Regardless, why burden yourself in the pursuit of those mere comparative qualities-of-life facets when you can experience arousing dialogues and boner-jamming illustrations that will certainly blow your head(s) away! Join the dark side; it’s pretty good!

....Only if you happen to fantasize about corruption and NTR, that is - if not, I’d reckon a game of such niches might not be a cup of tea brewed to your liking. Please research accordingly before supporting/downloading the game!



The Not-So-Merrier-(ish) Bulletins;



The grind — is present, glaringly obvious, and, perhaps without hyperbole, is the most based, consensus go-to criticism, as other reviewers have frequently stated on multiple occasions. Duly note that while I partly concede with how the grinding element might be off-putting for people who cannot/do not want to invest in a long progression sequence, I found it exciting and further adds to the immersion, albeit the pace felt passive and backpedaled by it at times, too. Quite traditional for a slow burn, though, if you ask me.

The content — by the demo market criteria, this game packs quite a serious punch with its very first build in terms of showing off creative, premise-setting content and the developer’s capabilities. In general, however, this game still lacks the more in-depth stuff, e.g., penetrations, foreplays, etc.

Finalized Verdict: It doesn’t hurt to give “Satisfy Him” a chance. You may even end up liking it if you were already hesitant to dip your toes into the corruption and NTR niches - you are the best honest-to-God reviewer you, yourself, and your time could ever ask for, after all!


Please support and show your love for the developer if you’d like to see more of the game; such styles are hard to come by.

One of the best games, with slow burn and good dialogue. Hard to find such games tbh. The only downfall is that it is not yet complete, sadpepe. Now to fill in the filler statement to complete the 200 mark review guideline. This is an issue of the platform and I cannot do anything about it.

Enjoy the mundane feel of the game, makes it really easy to get einvested in teh outcome compared to 'save the world' level stories that would require like 300h to flesh out but no one ever have done so far.

I Just want to start by saying that this game rocks. The writing and the pace of the mc being corrupted is superb. The reason why this game is so great is that the mc is a respectable, modest, intelligent woman who slowly feels tingles from within herself for the protagonist. The first version of this game hasn't been lewd where she's a developing bimbo influenced by her friends, hits on guys, gets drunk, tattoos, piercings, dresses slutty ect. Its all about maintaining a contract that has been established with the protagonist and at the same time its slowly changing her. Well done dev and thank you.

What a fantastic games, I think this is the best game I've ever play, the renders and art so beautiful, irene and Laura so hot especially irene she's even hotter when she's with daiki, 5/5 for this game, good job dev can't wait play for the next update

Very promising start. The art is good and it is well written enough to be interesting. There is a grind but it isn't a boring grind. My largest issue is that it is rather difficult to maintain balance and do what you want. Most days feel like the tasks have been decided for you so that certain bars remain high. Regardless, this is something to check out and watch for updates.

[ v 0.1] An excellent start to a NTR game , the story is well thought out . It has no time sinks or endless walking trough large areas. So far the game has everything going for it . Can't wait to see what the future brings.

One of the NTR games that you have to play if you enjoy that type of content. Hope it will develop as good as the initial release. Definitely worth supporting.

Summary:

Exceptional and outstanding new NTR game, with unique gameplay options, great corruption arc and very good art. The story is well-paced and witten in good english. The character design is especially well done, which is very important for NTR and corruption games. Even technically everything runs smoothly, which is not given with games using the RPGM engine especially as the game features a lot of implemented gameplay features.
I will definitely keep an eye on this one. Together with 'A Promise Best Left Unkept' and 'Henteria Chronicles' probably one of the MOST promising NTR games atm. Sadly production time is VERY slow.

Taking a closer look:

Gameplay
The devs added a whole bunch of different gameplay features that are implemented very smoothly into the game, such as a experience and contract tab. Most of them work perfectly fine are simple to use and make sense in combination with the story. Some might be a bit repetitive and inconvenient, but maybe thats something that gets balanced better in the future. Grind is only minimal and at times where it mostly makes sense. Grind is also used to surprise the player and thats why this is the first time that I actually like the small amout of grind provided. I will give you an example:

IMO this implementation really is genius and something completly new or at least something you experience far too rarely.
There are more implementations that are only revealed already but the player cant use them atm. E.g. in the shop you will find that you might be able to sell presents from the husband to make some money. It makes sense that this will only be able when later stages of the corruption and moral degeneration will be reached. Still I am already looking forward to it and it gives a glimpse of how creative the devs are with this game.
The devs also managed to do everything right with QoL improvements: It's possible to skip, run, fast forward. There are only very few bugs and there also is a gallery in form of a recollection room.
Personally I would wish for some more freeroaming events, not necessarily with other characters, rather with the antagonist, cause sometimes the few possible events feel a tiny bit repetitive and bringing more diversity could really help here (also more content always is a plus especially in the arc of a corruption story).

Content
As adressed in the previous paragraph, content is a bit thin. My impression might not be that accurate, cause I really like the game and naturally want to have much more content - still I feel like there are some gaps and openings that if they were filled with just some tiny additional events it could make the game and corruption progress feel really complete.
Still there definitely is a lot of content especially for a first release and I am just nitpicking, cause I already fell in love with the game. There is a variety of different scenes and events, which alter with the game and story progressing. There is a whole bunch of CGs and we already witness some big steps in the corruption process. So overall the devs actually delived very well in terms of content. Still - as somebody who already fell in love with the game - the actual content is what I as a player am most eager about. So I just want to reach out to the devs and say the following: Please don't rush the corruption process to fast. Good corruption storys live by their credibility and applicability towards reality. Please devs, take your time in flashing out the different steps and events of the corruption process of this very proud, confident and emancipated female MC. Corrupting strong-willed wives is one of the hottest NTR premises IMO and you are doing a great job with so far. So please just take your time to put a lot of love into the details of this great shell of a game you already provided and this might really be one of the best NTR games ever. In other words, take your time, add a lot of content to each stage before progressing and slowly fill the whole picture. The better the game, the more happy people will be if it sticks around for a long time. You managed to establish a great foundation for the game, now you have all the gear, just dont rush it and take your time to implement a lot of details.
This section will be rated very positively (++) and has a moderate impact.

Art
While the art may not be the best I have experienced so far, it is really good. I expecially like the character design of the female MC and the antagonist. And while in some CGs the propotions seem a little out of place, they really shine in others. All in all it is more then sufficient and helps a lot with imagining the story and scenes.
What I would like to see is a little more art here and there, eg. a picture of the husband, a picture when they kiss, a better picture of the antagonist and the MC holding hands, just little things...
This section will be rated positively (+) and has a low impact.

Story
I absolutely love the premise of this corruption/NTR story. Its everything a good NTR story wants: A strong-willed, emancipated, deligent, hot-as-fuck wife that is working as a lawyer with a high moral ground is getting corrupted and NTR'ed by a no-good, lazy, somewhat ugly man, who's evil schemes slowly fall into place. The way the corruption is executed and also the pace of the whole process are done very well. The female MC does not immediatley fall for the antagonist but rather tries to fight him with her own schemes and is reluctant, all this while she slowly, without relazing falls deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole.
What I would like to see is just a little more interactions with the husband, to remind the players that she actually is in a relationship. Maybe some more refernces could be made here, eg. while she is working and the antagonist oggeling her, she gets a glimpse of her wedding ring and starts to get more reluctant again. Or just some scenes with the hubby (I am almost sure we get more of them in the future when corruption rises and the antagonist starts to grope and harass the female MC more in front of her husband).
Also as mentioned before, I hope the story wont get rushed and the devs take teir time to flash out all the details of the story and it's progress.
This aspect will be rated very positively (++) and has a great impact.

Adult and pornographical aspects
The scenes in this game are really, really hot. Not only the art and set-up help to achieve this but also the way the scenes are narrated and the dirty talk within the scenes. I especially loved how the mind-process of the female MC is pictured with flashbacks and thoughts.
Sometimes I feel like there could be one or two CGs more and a little more variety in the scenes that change over story progression.

Update: So development obviously is very, very slow atm as Onedge is working on two games at the same time while also having a full-time job. As he is constantly communicating on his discord and doing everything right in this regard and the games development is his hobby this shouldn't really refelct on the games rating but it is somewhat a very negative thing about the game and it's development. That's why I decided to rate this section negative for now.

this game is solid in many ways makes some good things, some bad things and some very promising things.

Pros:
- ntr
- female mc
- tasteful curves
- more grounded and less anime drawing
- easy to navigate not too much to walk
- ugly (old?) guy
- good english (better than mine)
- intersting seduction/suspicion system
- guy has a face with eyes (hilarious i have to point this out )

Cons:
- to tedious, not much to do, too much of the same every day
- guy doesn't look that ugly or old in certain pics
- i really dig the drawing style BUT the pixels of these renders are too low often and some images doesn't seem finished
- no sex even after close to 2 hours into the game

the girls look nice but it seems they are victims to limited options/quality which is really sad. also the game is a bit too tedious and has too much of the same parts which gets boring quick especially if there isn't really the feeling of getting a reward for it. i also wonder how the sex scenes will turn out (hopefully no comic style where you just see half of the action)

i like the game its solid its really not bad at all and the mc is really nice but its far from being well rounded and higher quality work or very entertaining... which is sad cause it has potential. but the dev seems really dedicated which is nice ^_^
