this was abandoned right?.
Not really.
So, here's a quick recap of what happened:
- v0.1 was a nice side project for Patreons, while the dev worked most of their time on On Edge.
- Then, the dev decided they were pretty much stuck on what they wanted next for On Edge, because they needed to go the Karryn route, and develop 3/4 of a new engine from scratch to have the features they wanted on the game (this happened gradually, over a year or so of feature creep on the code rework).
- After some time, they decided to use that same homegrown RPGM engine mod on both their games, and use Satisfy Him as a kind of testbed for all the code they wanted to write, then port it to On Edge.
- 3-ish years later, we finally got a new release for Satisfy Him

Keep in mind, the dev was both dedicating just spare time in their daily life to the project, and the game's Discord has been (for the most part) a very active place where they've kept everybody more or less updated on how things were going.
There are still some bugs, and the amount of content in comparison to 0.1 is not substantial, but the code base rework has been promised to be comprehensive enough that new content should be easier and faster to be added (while they dedicate some time to coding other new features they want on the half-engine they're making).
That said, do not be surprised by time gaps between releases, since the vague timeline for this was that, once this release came out, the dev would dedicate the time to now adapting On Edge to the new code
