You can increase the income by reading a book. You can decrease the Hot-Dog price by doing stuff with the old man.
The only other Alternative is sitting on the bench, which you only have to do a couple of times to progress the story.

i am having the same problem after the call from daiki's mother i cant progress does anyone have the save after the clothes event
I swear this game is like a toxic ex with incredible pussy.. Years pass, you think you're finally over it, then boom she hits you up and you're back in and it's still as good as you remember lol btw thank god the cheat item got revamped to decrease guilt too, last version I softlocked my game at the "giving Daiki your phone" scene I think because of a guilt overflow cause the suspicion was zero. So now not only am I seeing the new content I get to actually see the old content I locked myself out of! My prayers have been answered... even if there are still a few bugs lol

This game is really nice, update was good. Not worth all the wait, but glad to see the dev has come back to us .
