Saves are all still in game folder but suddenly no longer in game?

Very confused with this one. Opened a game after a few months to find all the saves in the game are gone, even though the game folder shows they are all still there? There is a few Automatic Saves showing but that's it. ..

Anyone know how I can get the saves back again? Or will I have to start over again?

renpy games? check the renpy folder under %appdata% of the game, if it's empty try to copy the saves there and reload the game to see if anything change, but they being in the 'name_of_game'/game/saves folder usually works, kinda weird.

Have you tried the following steps:

Hit Windows + R key

In the run app - input %appdata% - Click enter

You will then see - App Data > Roaming > And then a folder for 'Ren'PY' should be present.

Within the Ren'PY folder, there will be save data from all the Ren'PY games you have installed. If you have done any recent OS updates/reinstalled your OS that might have cleared your persistent save data I'm betting this might explain why all your saves are not loading up in your game despite the game folder showing your saves as still present within the game files.
