Saving Issues with multiple games.

So I have this problem: When playing some games saving doesn't work and when I close and reopen the game all the saves are wiped.
And it's not with one or two games. Liliths Throne, Ayura_Crisis, Signal Force, Commander Kamikaze, Grollok and many more.
It seems like my PC (Win 10) is the issue, but what could be the cause? I know this probably isn't the forum for these sort of troubles, but one can hope, right?

Check if you are logged in as admin / on admin account, guest accounts have limited access. Also check to see if the games the read/write access on your system, if they don't they won't be able to create (write) a save file. It could also be your anti-virus stopping the games from creating the save file (although most AV will delete / quarantine files doing the creating not normally the created / save file)
to see if the game has permission to read / write, go to game dir, right click exe and select properties, go to security tab and it should show there if it has permission.

Did you unzip the games before playing them?
