Strange. If after starting a new game, you exit to the menu and then start the game again, it freezes on the "warnings" screen and becomes unresponsive. And if you don't start a new game but load one instead, the taskbar appears at the bottom in full-screen mode. And when you restart the game and load a save, the taskbar still remains.
