Pffff. I posted this less than a day ago and now I'm THAT famous? Woah. Such ego. I think I should clarify why I'm CONSIDERING quitting Minecraft, spoiler alert, has very little to do with the current modded sex scene of Minecraft:
- Minecraft recently, since basically version 1.17 and a bit before that, with the update 1.16.2 I think that added the brutes, has been on a constant downspiraling of turning the game from what it used to be a kids and newcomer friendly game into a game that's leaning to bootlick hard the souls fans who want a more punishing and hard experience at the expense of newbies by adding, or more like "shittifyin" the base experience like having a Piglin that throws the gold mechanic of making them passive out of the window, always attacking you sight and if you attack them to among other reasons defend yourself, ALL piglins go after you, that was the first time I felt I disliked actively an update of MC but felt okeyish. Then they added the Warden, which didn't fit at all in the base game, then they make him uncheesable to the point that even legitly trying to escape from him became almost impossible without some kind of teleport and luck situation. Then they added the creaking, or whatever that thing is called, continuing in the dumb idea of turning the game into a horror-lite experience which is NOT what Minecraft is supposed to be. Mobs in that game should have to require such overcomplicated techniques to be defeaded or being DESIGNED to be undefeatable by normal means when literal bosses of it are far less difficult to kill. But consistency? Yeah, Mojang lacks knowledge about it and it seems to be continuing on that path. Don't get me wrong, I'm kinda excited about the upcoming happy ghast, but that frankly feels like something a modder would have come up to ages ago in version 1.7.10 or something. They had that with Spiders and other hostile mobs already so....
- Speaking of versions, why is it that everytime a new hotfix or update of the game comes out. Literally every goddam mod needs to be made all over again from scratch to match that version? I get it that updates breaks SOME mods, but Minecraft's sensitivity on those is on another level of absurd. No game that I have played that can be moded require the entirety of it's modset to require to be made from scratch and Minecraft is almost always like this. Which also ads another MASSIVE problem, that if you want to have the latest mod versions, you're almost required to have the latest version of the game, and since not all mods update, if you're fond on XYZ mods but only X updated fully, Z updated half way but not Y. You're screwed on the new content of X and maybe a bit of Z.
- Let's talk about the community of Minecraft (In this topic Ill be incluiding the MC lewd modders, but lol, their impact is so minimal that I might as well not to). Who voted for Phantoms? Not me. Who voted for the dumb glowsquid knowing that dynamic lighting is an Optifine and not a vanilla game thingy? Yeah.... After the whole Warden BS I thought that them choosing the Rascal will feel like a compensation or at least giving a golem a chance since is the second golem that competed, yet we got the stupid Sniffer who only brings you two plants and it's way too oversized for it's own sake. And I could go on with the votes but I think everyone dislikes them at this point so lets continue on something else like.... The youtubers for example. The vast fuking majority of them happen to have some superiority "Diva-don't touch me" kind of complex that makes them insuferable to watch, and the more famous they become the more it shows. Only ones that doesn't happen to be like that are curiously enough people that you can clearly see that for other reasons in life has forced them to mature like being parents of not just one kid, or having to deal with other stuff like administrating a podcast talking about stuff that has little to do with Minecraft, or maybe Minecraft is one of the MANY games they're engaged with and probably the one they dedicate the least amount of time. ETC. Basically the more connected they are to it the more they act toxic and I can't help but wondering why.
- Back to something more personal, let's see. In which I would rather waste or more like invest my time with. A game that with about 50 mods or so takes on my computer a literal quarter of an hour to load since I hit the "play" button on the launcher until I'm in game.... Or others that with 10, sometimes 100 times that mods amount take at worst the quarter of that time to load and oh, all this while in MC you go from medium to almost low settings while on the others you just don't activate raytracing cause you don't wanna play below 30 frames but other than that you get a consistent near 60 on the others. Yeah, clear choice. Specially when the others don't feel as alien if you happen to have an item that looks spherical while on MC having an sphere that looks like an actual sphere feels cursed. Cause hey, even fukin modded Cyberpunk who's unoptimized as hell runs quite oftenly better on my machine than Minecraft ever did on average. And this is not a JAVA or C++ thing. Both versions of MC for some dumb reason always performed like crap on all devices I tried it being quite above the minimum requirements yet those very same devices were capable of running other games they were technically not capable of running for being under the minimums.
- Another personal one and this is time to tear down the base problems of MC as a game:
/ Do you like terraforming? I never did even on games that allowed me to do so and weren't voxel based like Roller Coaster Tycoon, because that is booooring to do, I'll rather make the terrain from scratch on Unreal than deal with reshaping an already existing one.
/ Do you like exploring for hours the same randomly generated terrain and always finding the same boring places that either offers nothing of value or that you can't properly use cause your character is too unprepared to face that dungeon and by the time you have, it's been so long and you have engaged in so much self imposed challenges that you even forgot? There's a reason people are dreading how the playloop of something like Starfield goes and it's cause it's randomly generated places are prone to make everything look samey and uninteresting. Which is funny how other games, offering the same damn map never feel old, even if you know it better than the palm of your hand.
/ Do you like spawning to a world and feeling like that John Travolta meme of not knowing dafuk is going on? Yeah, it's Minecraft at it's base, you spawn there and have literally nothing to do unless you force yourself to do so and not even been given proper clues on how to do so. Every other survival crafter I played to some degree incentivized you to take some specific steps so at least you don't feel clueless. Some even reward you to do so while not limitating your possibilites and it feels always fun precisely for having that balance, but in MC? Even in modpacks that have stuff to do you get that absolute blank slate feel but hey, don't you dare random exploring to find something to put yourself to do cause as a good randomly generated map, there's the chance you spawn near a dungeon of enemies with enchanted diamond gear that you can't help but running for your life. That is if the seed you spawn in is not cursed enough to make it so you're constantly on a death loop that you can't escape unless you "unstuck" yourself by jumping quickly into creative mode.
/ Do you enjoy the combat and base healing system of Minecraft? Cause I'm yet to find a combination of combat mods and healing system for that game that does not feel more atrocious than the vanilla one. Having to wait who knows how long until you have a full food bar (that you can see) AND some saturation levels (which you DO NOT see) so you can have some healing is.... Stupid like no other. And sure, you have health potions, which you need stuff to make that about 90% of the MC players either don't know how to get or rarely get naturally before they visit the nether, cause guess what. You need some nether stuff to craft heals, cause the nether is such a SAFE place to go into for base heal items RIGHT?
I could go on like again, the voxel style of the game being an eyesore but I think with this already textwall you can see my point. Kinda cute people thinking they "kicked" me out of Minecraft for being toxic on a non-made porn mod thread for Minecraft. And what's even dummer is that these dumbasses don't even realize that the sex mods that are available are NOT in the version I play currently which is 1.18.2 and I already stated before the reasons on why I'm not switching to another anytime soon. But cause some kids here have the same memory capacity as Dori, I'll repeat:
"Anything pre 1.18.2, for a bunch of reasons like certain mods like Epic Fight or Clockwork, that I need for personal reasons, DO NOT exist previous to that version so minimum I can play is 1.18.2. Many of the mods I use jump from 1.18.2 to 1.20.1 and the 1.20.1 has a lot of problems of it's own. Like refusing to load any of my previous worlds AT ALL, or it's mods not being truly updated, or things that worked fine with each other on 1.18.2 like a third person mod I use with Valkyrien Skies on 1.20.1 leads to an insta crash. Sometimes the very game decides to crash randomly on freshly new made worlds, and all of this offering basically no substantial change for me to move from 1.18 to 1.20 and many are still not considering an update to 1.21 so for all of those and other etcs. My current version is 1.18.2" the Sexmod and thus Fapcraft are for 1.12.2. Which I don't play. And the suposedly made but not made mod of the HatterKid is on 1.20.1, which I already stated why I don't play, even before knowing this person existed. And even then, because of many things related to Mojang and it's community which preeced this whole thing WAY BEFORE the whole damn 1.20 version was even in the oven that I considered ditching Minecraft. In fact I did in the past and only came back because of the possibilities that mods like Valkyrien Skies and Create introduced, but even then, and specially after starting to become somewhat able to create super basic things on Unreal 5 and seeing how most of those skills I could kinda transfer them to better suited for modding games like Skyrim, Palworld or Conan Exiles, I started to wonder if Minecraft is even worth keep investing time when it's so needlessly clunky. Specially when, again, Skyrim, Palworld, Conan Exiles, even goddam Cyberpunk has better sex systems either via vanilla (like Cyberpunk) or via mods (Like Skyrim that excells on that to the point of surpassing even dedicated sex games like Wild Life). So yeah, I think that if you were in my shoes. You wouldn't be even considering Minecraft. You would have been gone a while ago. But I guess I'm still too fond on the time I dedicated to the game and the things I see possible to do in it that I kinda struggle to pull the plug from it just yet. Specially when the movie releases tomorrow and I can see another wave of Minecraft content spamming going my way and tempting me to not go out just yet.
Oh and for the sake of clarity. People need to start reading names. Do you know a GUY named Ruby? I know transphobia on the internet is bad but at least I didn't expected absolute ignorance on basic names addressing logic. Oh well, guess that's to be granted too seeing how someone considered they "kicked me out of an MC porn thread". Gotta say, this really made my day as the funniest joke of the week
