Ok first, you should have sent me a PM/DM since I mentioned like 30 pages ago I can kill whatever DRM they were intending to add.

Second, you have nothing to worry about. I went through the 18k lines of code that were changed since 0.3.0 (inflated due to obfuscator changing all function names, it's probably closer to 3k) and I don't see anything calling home. The binary itself (SOL.exe) is identical to the one from 0.3.0 so nothing there either.

Thus, I call bullshit on DRM added to catch "violators". It was all a scare-tactic.

I can say though that they did some work on that god-awful precache script, yay?

Imma go make a script to decrypt everything now since I promised I would.

Some notes about the walkthrough:

• I won't be updating this walkthrough or the patch anymore.
• The walkthrough can be used with both the unpatched game and the patched game. I'd recommend using my patch, but the walkthrough can be followed exactly the same without it.
• Skipping the intro will prevent you from getting the day 1 romance point with the mom, so even if you are replaying the game you shouldn't skip the intro.
• If there is a choice or event that isn't mentioned in the walkthrough that means it's a choice that doesn't affect anything and you can choose any option.

Yeah thats a game breaker alright. You will need to restart the game or if you have it load an older save file and focus on getting violet's relationship level to 2 before the mittens event. If you dont, you are basically fucked.

Yeah, I just got the same. Doesn't even help moving to another area or reload if you save while the screen is black. Did you manage to solve it?

Edit: Solved it by using the peephole and watching a scene with Natalie.

No way to solve it im afraid. If you saved it while the screen is black, if saves it in that state and as far as i know you have bricked the save. I personally ran into it once and i only solved it by quitting out and then reloading the auto save i had that was before the event.

is it just me or does the second image of the girl look under-aged ? every link banned the game but FilesCD and NOPY because the sites will still ban from hosting the game under the "look like under-age" line as they still consider it that as child pornography. (just saying)

Not trivial... but doesn't matter. Here's the script I promised that decrypts everything (make a backup of your game folder first, obviously)., which should answer your question.

You must be registered to see the links

Instructions:

1. Drop in game folder.
2. Execute with node:

   node decrypt.js

3. ???
4. Profit!

This will obviously break your game since it will try to load the encrypted files which are no longer there. I will write a patch later.
