You can upgrade the lust toys shop and hire staff. Is there a way to pay back your debt, or has that not been implemented yet?
I know that, but is there any actual way of completing the quest? I've sold over $1000 of total revenue from the shop, but the progress still says 0%.You can upgrade the lust toys shop and hire staff.
You can use the phone on the back wall to pay some money back, but you can't complete the quest, no.I know that, but is there any actual way of completing the quest? I've sold over $1000 of total revenue from the shop, but the progress still says 0%.
This will totally change the mindset of the devs and the patrons. No it won't, just forget about this dead game and it will be fine. <3I like that they finished 8 tasks in 2 months. Only 3 more tasks to go bois—until we can play tick tack toe with 2fps or something. Their 200 patron promise was full time work on the game... they have reached over 2000 patrons. Everytime with this game man. I think it's more of a testament to the idiocy of the patrons than the avarice and or laziness of the developer(s) at this point.
The 1$ tier is a big fuck you. The next tier is 10$. What practices is it exactly "you" are supporting with 10$, 20$, or 50$?
I want to put this into perspective. A GROUP of people have in the duration of an entire weeks "FULL TIME" "WORK" not even finished ONE "task" in an RPGmaker game (not updated since jan 19th.).
What have they made since the first release over 2 years ago? Is this congruent with your hopes for the game and the developer's promises?
"Ooooh, but it has so much potential". For so long "you" have been participating in this carrot and stick scheme. Are "you" mentally still an infant amazed by rattling keys?
I took his reply as meaning more along the lines of "What good will whingeing do?"No I won't. You know, what you wrote is BS. Can you please tell me, where in my text you thought, I was attempting to write to the developers?
I know but that's not what he wrote. The ones whinging are in large parts the devs as you may know.I took his reply as meaning more along the lines of "What good will whingeing do?"
While I disagree with a lot, if not all, of the devs practices concerning the game and their patrons, I like the game itself enough to not raise my voice against it. I was a supporter for a while, even handed off a few releases here. When the whole Maim Lain fiasco went down about the restoring the family titles and lawsuits and that whole mess, I stopped pledging. Regardless, my interest in the product is removed from my interest in the creators. It's like food, y'know? I like KFC, for example, but I don't give a shit whether or not the chickens are running around free, or locked in terrible prison cages.I know but that's not what he wrote. The ones whinging are in large parts the devs as you may know.
Someone scamming people and calling it out is not whinging. Being pedantic about the people holding the devs accountable for their words on an open forum is very much on the side of whine. The game is far from dead... rather the support is sickeningly increasing.
The original point of pledging, in my case, was to pass it along to you fine degenerates. Whatever bullshit they were, or are up to, is and always has been beside the point. Going back to the analogy though, I 've had chickens in the past, and they will eat chicken meat if it's tossed out. I don't think the process, any process, should detract from the product. If you like a thing, like it, and hang the details.Okay I'll take the bait. Following that analogy. You wouldn't have reconsidered pledging in the past, should you have know about the developer's shady practises because you are a (KFC) chicken?
A cautionary word against a company ill-suited to the support it garners is fine, but there are more people supporting them outside this place, than within. They'll have the support they want, and need, regardless of what goes on here. Warning people off feeding the machine might catch a few, but not enough to change things. It doesn't help that they look in on us here. Whether it's them directly, or some loyal supporters, they know that at the very least I've passed the game on, and have banned me from further supporting them on Patreon. Likewise, they got to Maim Lain, who as far as I know, only ever posted the original incest mod here. This is going a bit off topic. Endulging a bit on this sidetracked but important topic, the consideration of business practises is also worthy of note. You are in effect taking part in the action. Other shady people seeing this as a viable avenue will (and have) flood(ed) the market. Where there's little support, there's little insentive. Effecting not only the single project but the market as a whole.
I don't begrudge you for supporting them and sharing on this site... this site is meant for sharing. Thank you for your earlier share. I just wanted to share my consideration for other people who may have thought of supporting them. Yes support what you like, but more things than the potential of the product and promises of the developer(s) has to be taken into consideration. I would have praised this product to high heaven, if the developer had been reliable and the product if not consistent on the development, at least consistent with the agreed delivery
Now I just want to hug you, so let's stop for nowA cautionary word against a company ill-suited to the support it garners is fine, but there are more people supporting them outside this place, than within. At the heart of it, we're pirates, and this site here is our own little Nassau. We take what we can, spread the wealth, and help each other out as we see fit. But we do so knowing the system won't change. It's a piece of enjoyment we're after, not a social change.
The devs and some patrons might be around here and read it. Allthough your message might be aimed for the people here my comment still has some value but you are free to think what you want.^^I wrote not to the scumbag devs or the lost cause patreons, but to anyone who reads this thread considering to support the developers. Why should I or anyone else not remark upon bad practises? If people only hear the "good", an all too biased view of the game will be produced.
Pretty much, i guess i fucked up a little to make it perfectly understandable. X3I took his reply as meaning more along the lines of "What good will whingeing do?"
I understand what you mean and it wasn't my intention to let you look like a sad child who is mad now about a game but as i said...they won't change their mindset and people here who read this can't fix the problems either.^^I know but that's not what he wrote. The ones whinging are in large parts the devs as you may know.

I'm sorry about the sour tone. These developer just rustles my jimmies. I don't mean any ill will towards any of you and I understand, I may have gotten a bit too high and mighty for my two shoes... but(t) fuck boner games.
See, I'm almost the exact opposite. When I ever consider pledging to someone on Patreon, one of the biggest things I look for is how the dev acts, and their history. Even if a game is great, if the dev isn't someone I can trust, or someone who I think is passionate, I will never support them. In fact its probably the second biggest factor after the actual game itself. It might be one of the reasons I only support like 3 creators, that and I hate Patreon as a whole. While I disagree with a lot, if not all, of the devs practices concerning the game and their patrons, I like the game itself enough to not raise my voice against it.
