I just found this gem it's really great game but how long since it last updated? is this game dead or something?

In a sense, the spirit of the game is dead, mostly due to the dev being more focused on anti-piracy and other useless stuff that doesn't matter. but don't worry 10% of the focus is aimed at making game content. which is why you see so little content in every update nowadays.
I think at one point near the very beginning and I think there was some big beefy updates. but the last few years the dev has lost their mind on what's really important. not sure it's probably the lost her mind on how much money they could probably make on just milking it for as long as they can. (this is also a high probability, I mean considering what most of the other devs nowadays do on patreon or that the developer is just like some of the others just majorly incompetent.)
but if it took developer five years to get to the halfway point of this game which I'm assuming is the halfway point btw.
I'm just going to go out on the Assumption that's going to take another five years at most. hopefully not longer than that but let's just hope it's not actually five more years until this is complete.
this game would probably have already been completed if he actually took the time to focus on the game instead of the other useless stuff, that no one asked for and that no one needed.

To be honest the new scene is very disappointing BUT has a new angle in the sex scene with Flora(the mother) on the date. That ''new scene'' at least is pretty good. However not justify the time spent on the update indeed...

wow, what a shitty update, 2 months for nothing, the dev is not even trying anymore, he may have had the intention to actually make a good eroge at the beginning, something bigger than what is usually done by westerners, but now he lost motivation or the money from patreon became his main motive...
This amount of content is not worth 3-4 years of patreon income, money that could have gone to better devs...I would shit on western dev patreons and how they almost always fail...but when I check my dlsite account I can see that kachusha paid demo/prologue I bought years ago, yeah, the jap devs also are a bad joke from time to time...

Basically some bad eggs among the good one, funny enough when you can see that some money milker Devs got very large supports without doing anything anymore for years while many new good games that have passionate Devs had to abandon their project because of low supports. Truly make you feel very unfair and that people prefer fame over talent lot of time

I will tell you how I met this game, at first I saw a youtube video which caught my attention (at that time I was playing games by rpgm), and when I saw it I said wooooah what a nice art I like it, I downloaded it and entered its pattern just to see if it was a finished game or in development, and I realized that it was still on, and this game had what I liked (I entered for flora) but in the end I ended up loving more other characters (like the sister or the suicide girl or violet and the shy girl with glasses with her big tits and her booger that came out of her nose), and well it was something very nice this game is wonderful art and animations of the breasts, I was since they completely changed the mc by the rules of pattern, the truth I just hope this game continues to be updated, I have not played since update 3

well too bad he should post more updates so he dosnt lose his patreons.. they are paying big money for this game to be good what about them ? i stopped paying now because hes past 2 updates took half a year to get published and thats a total of 6 - 7 new scenes thats really bad i am giving up on school of lust gonna stop checking the updates and will try to find new better games
