It's not the first time they disappear for a long time just to reappear as if nothing and drop a shitty update (that was one of the reasons why I'm not a supporter anymore). I wouldn't be surprised if one day they say "We've reached the limits of what we can do with RPG Maker, so we're going to restart the developement using Unity" or "We're going to put SoL on hiatus to focus on our next game".
