"Flash"... but why? Why make game in format that is on it's way to be killed?
Flash is still getting updates and re-works every year for all OS's and browsers and even with Java around is still being used largely in mobile phone applications and school applications for basic learning/programming.
It may not be as popular as it used to be in the old days of Newgrounds, Adventure Quest, Whirled and so many more but it still has a massive following.

Flash EOL was announced by Adobe last year. The question is what reasonable person would invest their current time in a format whose creator has encouraged people to stop using it.

In my eyes even after it's 02/2020 deadline alot of web-creators will probably keep it going through the Flash-Adaption plugin which will be emulating Flash for websites in Chrome and other browsers.
That is probably just due to the fact of how much flash content in games alone exist on websites.

It is quite sad to see the Engine die off.
I'll still be using it for pet projects along with Lua based engines so we'll see what comes of it.
