This is a long shot.
I was recovering from surgery the other year and I played a game that had some story starting in space... you were part of a crew of a spaceship with all kinds of aliens and naughty shit going on. Then there was some event, you were taken over, there was something about handing over either yourself or a crewmate to some alien, maybe a hivemind?
Anyways, everything went to shit, I think, and we ended up on a planet where everything was primitive.
I really enjoyed the game, I thought I bookmarked it, but I cannot find it for the life of me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think the game had generally positive but mixed reviews? I can't recall.
