Identify Searching for a game: Haunting of something

So there is this html (i think) game that features a white demon, and you play a detective in a sea harbour town investigating missing people. I think the game turns you FTM throughout it. Any ideas? I think it is called The haunting of ......... or The curse of .........

No that isnt it, the white demon was faceless if i remember correctly
