lmao they've been "actively" working on the next update for like three years and nothing came out lolI haven't worked on it for a while either but I do know that EraHunter team is actively working on the game based on a post on their Patreon.
If it's not dead, it's undead! This version Era Hunter Mod dead (?)
Told ya this game is cursedIt's not really "dead", it is just slower than a snail(this game is really cursed somehow). I think I will finish up the next update(which is a game polish-update rather than a content update) soonish and then er...I guess this really has to shift to a primarily community modding edition-development type because I have not seen Seaweed in forever, seems to have vanished. And I can't do art to save my life.
Ikr? The curse is so realIt's not "dead dead" since it is planned to be continued at some point, but it is basically in "On Hold" or even "Abandoned" state currently because I found it hard to get motivated, Seaweed is gone outside of sometimes liking comments on this site, and I have been caught up with life and doing more safe for work-projects like fantranslating Nintendo stuff to german.
Maybe one of these days, I will just randomly feel inspiration to work on this and release that "next incremental update" I mentioned two replies up that I worked on, but never released.
Have you ever considered making your own game in a similar sort of style? Love the fact you started your own mod for it, and maybe it'd be more motivating over a game being drip-fed updates.Ikr? The curse is so real
If I had the ability to draw the art just like how it is in this game, I would. I'm very experienced with RPG Maker but I'm absolute shit at drawing and most AI image generators can't make NSFW look good without paying for a subscription.Have you ever considered making your own game in a similar sort of style? I agree but I hope you're not talking about me because I get no money from these and will never ask for money for it.An update of 600+imgs takes me around 3 months. I use rpgmz as well. These guys are just milking their fans.
Of course I have, but I just have no passion not confidence of having the necessary skill to get it done.Have you ever considered making your own game in a similar sort of style? Love the fact you started your own mod for it, and maybe it'd be more motivating over a game being drip-fed updates.
I mean it's not too hard to replicate, check their sketches and redraw until you're close enough, then edit and trace over the existing art(don't plagerize, add from what you want to see and what you practiced) and then you just, wing it, if it's not good peeps will let you know, hell you might even get a volunteer. If I had the ability to draw the art just like how it is in this game, I would. Hey man, from what I've seen so far I believe in your abilities! It's just a matter of finding a muse and inspiration for making one. As you said, AI isn't a good source of finished artwork, though toying around with it was how I put what I was looking for to paper in the first place, and then finding an artist to realise it. You're already halfway thereOf course I have, but I just have no passion not confidence of having the necessary skill to get it done.
