From those answers above... In other words, this game needs strategies and planning.
you can't expect running naked/flashing in front of people and not getting caught:HideThePain:
Well, duh.

I never claimed to be mindlessly running naked in the middle of the street; game's about exhibitionism, we all know what that entails. Thing is the difficulty level's still absolute bs, no matter how you wanna put it.
I'm used to stealth games but even said games have somewhat more leniency than this one when it comes to a good chunk of stuff.

Sure, distance, angle, light, phone, headphones, it all plays a role into it...but it doesn't change the fact that when some random npc spawns from the wrong mall shop-window or happens to detect the player for whatever reason it's pretty much instant and a "gg ez, lose all of this night's missions and credits". It sucks. It's miserable, it's frustrating, and a decent chunk of times it seems to be beyond your control.

Then again, sure, feel free to give me the "git gud" treatment, I doubt I am the best videogames player on the planet...but I should have no need to be, even more so to play a porn game.

You don't need to be the best. If you're having difficulty, use the tools that the game provides. Turn on the indicator thing, turn on the auto slow skill, use the body paint. It doesn't matter if you lose a little RP, and if completing the missions is really frustrating you then just do the thing that makes it less frustrating.

These aren't cheats, they're tools - doing things to add challenge or making it harder is for fun, and if that challenge isn't fun for you then don't engage with that challenge.

Normally, stacking all the bonuses maxes out the RP multiplier at ~x5.5 but there's another way.
Being near each NPC gives +0.10 to RP multiplier. So I encouraged a massive traffic pileup by the shopping mall elevator (see image below) and carefully walked into the crowd.

The picture doesn't show this very clearly but there are at least 27 people waiting to get into the elevator. Also not visible: my GPU dying from rendering all those NPCs and begging for mercy (it did not get it).

i think most of the game is perfectly consistent if you play it safe and keep your stamina bar maxed, but some missions are pure cancer yes

I found the RP farm. Its useful to collect amount of RP to buy itens. Its basically charge all toys at low in this spot while flashing. Susspicious never reach enough to get caught. Better at daytime, but works slower at night.

A guy speedrunning the game just ran behind people on benches and used dildo with vibrator on to farm rp, orgasms near someone gives like three times more rp per minute than everything else combined, and theres also the evil cashier spot
Funny how this game has an item build of ecstasy for rp farming, one of detection for missions, one of risk for multipliers for the record, and one of speed for convenience, you wouldnt expect to treat a porn game like its diablo

I like this idea of sharing cool and lucrative farming spots. Finding these are a lot of fun, tbh.

Here are some of my favs:

1: Cashier in clothes store
b4bc3cca0f43eef96c51fb7b8934f062.png
Probably the most popular farming spot. The cashier never moves, so as long as you don't use vibrators and only us 1 piston max, this gets you a shitload of cash money. You just need to be mega careful, when you uncuff yourself.

2: Billboards in the park.
1edd400a89b3d27c4da3d45454b90a60.png
If you get a bit creative, these can get you a ton of points. Your best bet is to instantly ditch your clothes and get to a billboard, far away from your coat, to get those extra distance points, You can fully deck her out with vibrators and pistons and will most likely not caught if positioned right!

3: Vending machines.

82f3048fa5085b5368adeba675440214.png
Pretty much any vending machine in an alley or dead end, that still gives you the "strip in an area where people walk by" points, are pretty much a 100 % safe gold mine. Even if you stuff your chick like a turkey with all the gear, when people turn towards you, the vending machine will most likely just barely block their sight.

People really need to understand the main focus of the game is exhibitionism
By that logic every game with a fixed theme or goal is a waste of potential bth.
This seems like a lazy comparison to me. It's not missing a fixed theme or goal- Manaka has a lot of that already. It's an exhibitionism game where you clear all the missions in each area, and it does it really well already.

The thing is that it's more of a game that fits itself under a larger genre of games, where it's missing a core feature that all other games in this larger genre would typically have; that larger umbrella being adult gaming. I don't know why every time someone says "sex would make this game better / more fun", folks seem to treat it as if the game would suddenly plummet in quality in every aspect. I do get that people constantly expressing it gets annoying, but can you blame them for being excited? This game's great.

I want to see sex because it allows us to play out more scenarios and different fantasies that use exhibitionism as a vehicle, allowing me to enjoy the exhibitionism fantasy more than I currently do with the game. It's fine if it doesn't have it, but it makes no sense that the popular opinion seems to be that "the game is better for not having it" or that "because it's an exhibitionism game there is no sex", and I'm really excited for whatever the dev has planned for the upcoming sex content.

This same opinion doesn't make a lot of sense either, it's like saying an NTR game can't have a pure-love route because it has NTR in it. It makes no sense. This forum has an entire subculture of people who will ONLY play games that have NTR if it's avoidable, even if it's not the main focus, and for some it's just because the ability to choose enhances the narrative. Not to mention, in the context of Manaka, folks are going to try and convince me that nobody will take advantage of a blindfolded, handcuffed, naked girl who's covered in toys in an adult game? It's just a head-scratcher, and is genuinely somewhat immersion-breaking.

So, to put it precisely, it's more like making an Action Game with no action sequences- but you get to run around and hit things with sick combos that don't fight back. Then, folks are saying that it's okay because "It's a Combo Sandbox". It wouldn't inherently make it a bad game, but it would feel like a waste of potential.

Edit: Sorry for many edits. Want to be as clear as possible.

Especially if you ask an NTR fan about their opinion on having non-NTR routes, it enhances the experience just by existing even if it isn't their primary interest. This forum has an entire subculture of people who will ONLY play games that have NTR if it's avoidable, even if it's not the main focus, and for some it's just because the "threat" of it enhances the experience.

I think arguing against the addition of some variety in manaka's gameplay is kind of silly. The game does indeed have a lot of potential and can benefit heavily from the addition of new mechanics like sex. I think for manaka's gameplay loop in particular people feel like they'd be forced to interact with themes that don't interest them/ruin their fantasy for full map/mission completion, which is understandable. Though that's why kink toggles exist. Hopefully they'll implement toggles for all additional kinks outside the scope of pure exhibitionism, like urination/futa.

I think people should also be realistic about expectations of game development in this genre, mainly that these games are being developed by individuals to small teams and their capability to add major additions is... limited, to put it mildly.

A 3D sandbox exhibitionism game with sex is probably still a few years away (yes I'm aware that Samantha is moving towards that direction, it is always probably years away from actual full release). There's probably a lot of hurdles to consider from a programming and game developing perspective (after all, there has been various projects in the genre on and off for half a decade already, that none* of them has really done it hints at the difficulties).

*well, there's this thing: https://f95zone.to/threads/deg-dosukebe-sandobokkusu-rj01380783-anoh-kanikousenz.254328/ but I'm not sure if that counts depending on the definition.

A powerful and beautiful person named fedpika has gifted us, like water in a desert, an XToys script for Manaka (v 1.0.6)!

- Vibe or anything else
- EStim

So instead of using the simple vibe on / off that the dev provided, we get the more detailed options to trigger our vibes from:

Exciting!!!

Edit 2: Can confirm, works as advertised for 1.0.6 only, probably needs new hex strings and pointers for the newer versions. If you thought the game was too easy before, try these out!

Hello, how did you managed to download the 1.0.6 version please ? i can't find any link, tank you in advance

I am almost in agreement but you are kind of doing the thing that bothers me about this whole back and forth...some people who like exhibitionism do not care for the sex aspect at all. So when people say or imply "the game is missing a core feature" it makes no sense when the author didn't ever intend to include it. It would be like saying "this ice cream is missing a core ingredient of chocolate so it's not ice cream and it fails as ice cream" when the chef doesn't like chocolate and was never going to put chocolate flavor. Or saying "this house is incomplete because it doesn't have a pool" when the designer never included a pool in the first place.

The part I do agree with is that including it as an optional feature is not going to make the game worse when you can just turn it off if you don't like it. And the creator already said they're going to add in sex scenes as an optional feature so this is covered in this game.

I just dislike when people imply a game is incomplete for not including a thing that was not planned to be included, and this happens A LOT in Roxanne and Sereka/Manaka threads which is irritating to me. The devs created a thing they wanted to create, they did not "fail" or "leave it unfinished" as I've seen some people say (not you) just because they didn't include a thing other people wanted in it. Your phrasing is better than those since "potential" is not insulting and is accurate, to be clear. I'm mostly using it as a jumping off point to vent about that stuff.

Here you go. You probably searched for 1.0.6, but the op wrote 1.06. The download link includes the bepinx thing so you don't need to apply it yourself!

Hello, this is the 1.06 ( censorship x ) update.

Please refer to the link below for update details.

I have this imaginary idea that people should be required to try remaking "simple" games by themselves to understand how game development is really complicated before asking for any features. Many people don't understand that things they ask for that they think are simple are actually complicated, especially when there's only one developer, and I don't really blame them because of course they don't know. But it would be good to make people get perspective so that they understand what they're asking for.
