Correct, and the global slider range can be influenced in cheatengine, which includes those sliders. Even if the slider range is changed, the FOV limits cannot be bypassed.

Well I'm already changing it myself by editting the value directly but yes it resets back to "normal" values once you enter the graphics settings menu.
