My multiplier is 2.4 for some reason, and when I try to change it, it instantly goes back to 2.4. Do you know why?

Interesting, that should be impossible but somehow it happened? 2.4 should be the speed for sprinting. I need more data if anyone else have the same problem or not.

But my deduction would be because in testing I set it to 2.4 and when saving it doesn't return to it's default value, but you should still be able to change the value.

Im not sure what happened but I restarted CE and now it shows your 1.000...24 value.

edit: nvm on the effects, I just chose to install from the ini files. The only difference is the Night one installs SweetFX/DPS.fx, so I went with that.

I don't actually know which specific ini files you refer to, but it sounds like you've found some presets someone made. If you don't have a specific goal in mind its hard to recommend any single effect.

'prod80 shadows midtones highlights' is easy + fun way to tweak the the image.
FGFX LSPOirr can give a whole mood.
Try Contrast Limited Sharpening (or CAS instead) to boost fine texture detail.

Commonly people make large stacks of effects, at a significant cost to performance.
You will find the limitations of reshade very quickly with this game, as the game's own rendering and texturing are quite bad in places!

Someone else mentioned NPCs calling popo instead of instant gameover. I also think you should be able to "save" the run by breaking line of sight for some time while they try to pursue you.

For the apartment block, I used stairwells for most of it.
Although tbh the whole zone seems pretty empty. I only had to deal with one or two people.

seemed weird that the stariwells count as "where people pass by" when they ALL seemed to use the elevator. even when they got off of it just 1 floor up...

I've been trying to do a really hard one, but even with 3 extra lives cheat on SFMod I can't finish it
- pick outfit that makes you "nude" by game's standards
- set vibrator to hard
- leave your coat and vibrator switch at home
- equip blindfold or similar
- step out of house into residential area
- pick drone mission where you only have to grab handcuff keys (bonus points if it's the random place, no compass mission)
- find keys, unlock cuffs, walk back home to shut off vibrator (bonus points for not removing blindfold on the way back)

With 'casual clothes' marker (I.e, the eye symbol) you treated as fully-dressed and can't strip or flash by pressing E or Q. Which feels like it kind of defeats the point of the game?
They also clip through the streaker-coat horribly to the point where it looks like you're only supposed to wear those while 'naked' (but you unlock some of these outfits before you unlock the ability to take the coat off)

The raincoat item is the same. I assume(?) it gets worn alongside the normal coat, which probably results in tons of clipping and makes the flashing look really weird.

Unless it just replaces your main coat entirely? I never actually checked.

Some certain article of attires have a special marker having a crossed-eye that can be considered as such, though there's no flashing system with them unfortunately; namely the Tactical Maid Dress for example. (Not the apron)

Skirts of course have their status negated if you have futanari pills on.

Though I can assume at some point that Dev probably has plans to do more with those if we at least go by with their previous game being Sereka.
