Of course note, with the complete it unavoidable that game leak out fast on the free roam, pretty much cut of his income...I'm sure he understand that, that's why he not to fast on the make a game. If he complete the game to soon, I'd call him an idiot.

From my experience trying to decrypt statements like this, I believe this user is implying that development of a new game is intentionally slow in order to edge on people with paid previews. They go on to state that, if a game for it was completed quickly, someone would leak it just as quickly, and significantly cut into subscriber numbers because of it.
Personally, that doesn't really make any sense to me; I'd imagine more people would financially support a game that exists and can be interfaced with rather than one that, for all intents and purposes, is a bunch of behind the scenes insights handed to them weekly like a newspaper subscription.

If I'm understanding right, you're saying the dev should just take his time to release it to bleed the Patrons slowly over time instead of releasing sooner and getting less money?
I know there's a lot of Patreon projects that do that, where they'll just meander through development for years, taking their sweet time, but I don't see it happening with this one, the dev goes through too many depressive episodes, if he goes too long without any new progress, he'd probably spiral and quit suddenly.
That said, if he DID release sooner and people pirate it, that's really nothing new, it's something most of us content creators deal with; he'd probably move on to either Project Maple, or continue to add more content to SHF3 anyway.
Besides, he's been on this rebuild so long that "complete the game too soon" really isn't applicable anymore.

Erm, not quite....tho i do play some VN mostly in English, and practically all the game. I'd like to play some in my native, but that not an option most of the time, so basic understanding of English come in handy. Tho i don't actually know any rule about the language(nothing to be proud of), which is why some time is hard do describe for the people that flawless with it about what am i saying
Ah, so you didn't necessarily learn the language from playing porn games, but rather they are a significant source of application and practice. Neat.
Also, don't worry too much about not knowing the rules of the English language, very few native speakers actually know all the rules. The language is kind of a clusterfuck.

Still i may understand that some people might be irritated with my speak, tho nothing i can do about it. Still, if English be educated through porn game's, that might be pretty funny.
If it's any condolence, you're quite a bit more legible than several morons I know who have English as their first language.

Yeah, its absolutely bullshit how long this update is taking, however, Levy at least is showing progress, like, its actually working on the game, is not like some developers that go radio silence, deliver a bug-fix patch after months and return to "work" on the game, that is in the best case scenario, other times they cancel the game but leave the Patreon open.
I don't think Levy is free from criticism but at least its working on the game.

I'd hesitate to call this an "update" and more of a remake, or redesign. Levy's basically making a modular platform, to create multiple games off of, using the idea of this game as a baseline/inspiration. The fact that it's only taken roughly a year and a half to basically create a new game that seems reasonably moddable is actually kinda impressive for one person who's still (somewhat) teaching themselves coding.

End of 2019 he hit some sort of fund goal and put out a poll for the next game. It was choice between:
1. SHF Ink (a text based game)
2. SHF Tales (visual novel)
3. SHF Factory
Factory won by a landslide and for a year or so he was posting WiPs on it and i think it got to a semi-playable state though it was never released. Last time I saw mention of it from him was mid 2021, saying he was going to delay it and possibly just make one of the other games from the poll (although reduced further in scale as well)
