I could be completely wrong about this but I believe that the (broken) list for faces means that they are not working properly, aka facial expressions are broken and the developer knows. You can click through the list of various faces and there only seem to be 1 or 2 that work.
They have a good variety of faces as is. Making them scared, horny, horny and scared all look different.
