Wondered that myself. It would be deeply symbolic as a tone shift on the Shaya route.Ya think Rowan will find a way to give Shaya her old face back?
I think that most Mel Brooks jokes will get you banned, so resist the temptation at all costs.I've a joke to say but I'm not sure how easy it is to get banned here
While I would be surprised if that was an option by the end of the game, but I think it would lead to a "bad end." Jezera is clever and savvy enough to play along like a she's a good pet as long as you have the advantage, but she would turn the table at the first opportunity. Rowan would have to remain hyper vigilant and always be monitoring her for as long as he kept her around.well hopefully during one of the paths i hope you can take over their kingdom by killing that asshole brother and by either enslaving the sister or by seducing her
Maybe near the end of the story, but certainly not before she is truly ready to turn on Jezera. Changing her face would be a clear sign that she is no longer fully under Jezera's sway and alert Jezera that there is something going on. Funny enough I suspect Shaya would be more accepting of the transformation if Jezera acknowledged that Shaya made a big sacrifice for her and didn't just treat her as a tool/toy.Ya think Rowan will find a way to give Shaya her old face back?
It is worth mentioning that Nasim mentions that the traditional manner of making permanent trasmutations is by investing a great deal of magic to create a "seed of chaos" (oh hello title, what are you doing here?) inside the subject that continually fuels the magic of the transmutation. This is likely what happened in Shaya's magic pool. Nasims breakthrough field of study of altering the subjects mental image of themselves as a alternate method of making the changes permanent is still far from perfected as we can see from the his test subject in the dungeons.Wondered that myself. It would be deeply symbolic as a tone shift on the Shaya route.
Prior to encountering the chaos priest character post Rastdel I would have said it might organically happen over time if she started strongly believing her new look wasn't the real her- and accepting her old look as Rowan encouraged her to accept herself for herself. Most of the plots concerning form changing and chaos magic require the person changed to deeply believe their body should be a certain way it isn't- and become undone quite quickly after the magic was no longer being applied.
the sentence could work similarly well by inverting the words 'brother' and 'sister' )well hopefully during one of the paths i hope you can take over their kingdom by killing that asshole brother and by either enslaving the sister or by seducing her
You make some good points about the meta-magic. There is just an incredible amount to speculate concerning the subject. I wonder, which plot arc will end up answering some of these major questions first. I'm betting on the post Rastdel epilogue resolutions- guess we will find out. While I would be surprised if that was an option by the end of the game, but I think it would lead to a "bad end." The chaos priest's magic we don't know enough about to draw any conclusions. However I would suspect that it isn't as limited as it may initially seem. I suspect there was at very least some prep work involved in what he does do Marianne. Considering that if Delane is the victim instead he doesn't just cast a different transmutation spell, but uses some kind of artifact instead, suggests to me that he can't just change whoever he wants, however he wants, whenever he wants.
Fae writer is Hooky and he's not only Goblins whatsoever. Extremely minor contributions because he's more focused on his projects.Oh damn, I was hoping for the Fae Story Arc. I really don't find goblins attractive at all, and we've just had Cla'min story... But well, I guess I'll have to wait.
The fact that Andras's arc is not done despite the amount of content he has blow my mind. But hey you get to see where Arioch's passion is.speaking of the roadmap, the devs just published an updated one... View attachment 1705862
(basically they're working on the beginning of the Goblin story arc, finishing the full Liurial arc, the progression of X'zaratl's, and in planning there are Nasim, the NTR paths for Rowan for Andras/Jezera and the continuation of the various Alexia paths)
While there is one new Andras NTR scene in this update appearently, focused on the background of Andras' slave girl, what they are actually refering to in that quote is NTR routes for each of the twins involving Rowan not Alexia. The fact that Andras's arc is not done despite the amount of content he has blow my mind. Moving WQ to writing an actual narrative chain would be better than one off events. The game is already sufficiently saturated with one off events. NPC arcs add more robust world-building by making the castle more alive / vibrant.Fae writer is Hooky and he's not only Goblins whatsoever. Right now that project is the Intro Rework. But, Fae is back on the discussion block, and while I can't promise a time table, I can say that it will become his top priority after the Intro rework is completed (which we're aiming for this month).
Goblins is starting because Exagie, who was on Draith, is freed up.
I'm finishing Liurial right now. And moving on to finishing Jezera NTR and Helayna.
Rein is doing Nasim and X'z and moving on to Rowan x Jezera.
Arioch's only writing project is Andras NTR.
WQ is working primarily on map quests and events, but he might be shifted soon. Probably Indarah.
DM is mostly on support, planning, and editing.
I like her as she is physically, while I understand that this could be something to go towards I like to think her accepting her new looks and changing mentally and emotionally would be better suited as it'll be something akin to a scar one only she and Rowan are aware of but to the world she looks pristine. If you think about it this type of narrative is better as her previous action will have had more weight and be more memorable for her to overcome her insecurities and come to terms with her previous actions while doing what she can to change her metal and emotional self unlike the usual cliche thing where we use magic to reverse the act which caused problems.Wondered that myself. It would be deeply symbolic as a tone shift on the Shaya route.

More Koh PLS she's too good to be left out and forgotten, and aren't the cla clan supposed to play roles in the goblin arc ?Unless of course WQ is writing more one off events for like Cla-mini or Koh or something- in which case I rescind my statement; as Indarah has nothing on those cuties.
Can't wait for the Fae,Helyana and the factions as well, hope we can finally see the completion of Act 1 by DecemberFae writer is Hooky and he's not only Goblins whatsoever. Extremely minor contributions because he's more focused on his projects.

WQ might be one of the new writers on the team. If that is the case I could see starting him off writing one-off scenes to get him used to the work flow and fitting into the overall feel of the game. This woud also make sense for putting him on Indarah who is one of the least pre-established characters so he doesn't have to worry as much about matching the previous output of another writer.Moving WQ to writing an actual narrative chain would be better than one off events.
