The male character is the actual protagonist and the player controlled character, the female character is the deuteragonist and has fairly regular events. You "control" her during those scenes but the meat of the game is with the male character. Before I start, I gotta ask.Which one do we play longer, male or female protagonist?
How do you get this scene ? For real I search it since 3days, I find her but she is hunting a tree sorceress and in the tavern I can have sex with her because she is injured injured please helpIn case some folks needed a reminder of who Ygriss is, see the below SFW character image. The spoiler beneath it is an old post about how to encounter her (along with some other minor spoilers in the text).
TWO years without Helayna content, Just feel my pain heredamn, another update without Ygriss content.
Another update without Ygriss content.
That's literally it for Ygriss. It's a one-off encounter in the game like so many others. Rowan can have sex with her or don't, but that first meeting is also the last meeting in the game. Perhaps that will change in the future one day. The dev team have a lot on their plate right now. However, we know that Ygriss has her own character sprite which not all minor characters have, and more importantly she's not dead. In addition, the encounter at the mountain hex tavern would allow for both characters to meet again in some fashion regardless of how the situation ultimately played out. If Ygriss does reappear again, it may not even be in this game but in a future one where we all explore a new major act of the story with Rowan. Here's hoping she's not just simply tossed aside on the cutting room floor. Cheers!I find her... and in the tavern I can have sex with her.
She actually has a small story chain now. It's just incomplete. Who knows if she will get more than the one scene- but its more than one event now. That's literally it for Ygriss. wondering the same thing, it updated on patreon already (sunday, 27)guys, anyone knows when will the update be here?
I disagree. I think the game has displayed at some points, or at the very least foreshadowed, a future revenge of the protagonist against his captors. I myself played through act 1 solely for the purpose enacting revengeporn, which is disappointing it never came.I know what you mean, but this is probably devs' goal for this game. SoC specializes in the scenes of cruelty, mind break, moral degradation, rape and overall corruption. So if you are not fond of this type of content then probably the game isn't for you. In order to truly enjoy SoC, I think one should like the horrible situation Rowan is put into. There isn't any "good" path in this game. Rowan can reject corruption and try to stay true to his morals but he won't gain any relief from that, only pain of seeing innocent people dying in spite of his choices (or even because of those choices), like in Rastedel. There is no escape from evil in this game. Rowan either becomes corrupted (and thus finds solace in his own depravation) or suffers while helplessly trying to remain pure.
The fact that it never came actually proves my point.I disagree. I think the game has displayed at some points, or at the very least foreshadowed, a future revenge of the protagonist against his captors. I myself played through act 1 solely for the purpose enacting revengeporn, which is disappointing it never came.
That would be disappointing. But that likely won't take more than 5% of the overall game content.
I see where you're coming from, but I don't think either of us can say much about what will and won't be in the game until the end without being part of the development team. What I'm saying (and said) is that according to my personal experience of the game, the story felt like it had a really good buildup to revenge, and that it is being written by some very meticulous and competent people, which makes me seriously doubt will fail to deliver an awesome punchline in the end. I also disagree with the 5% statement, because... being antagonized is exactly part of the revenge experience. The fact that it never came actually proves my point.
If you were playing SoC, as you put it, "solely for the purpose of enacting revenge", it means this game probably isn't for you. If SoC is finished, then we will probably get some sort of revenge ending in Act III. But that likely won't take more than 5% of the overall game content.
No... Dissapointing would be after being agree in doing so low things, Rowan provide to the player an scripted ending without sense like TLOU2, forgiving Da Twins after overpower them and going so far to that pointThat would be disappointing.
