Hello guys/gals/non-binary peeps,
So, first up—the bad news. As some of you already know, the page was recently suspended by Patreon. This is because they recently changed their definition of bestiality, which was human-level sapience, also to include non-human genitalia, and we have a few characters who fit that particular definition. As a result, in order to get the page reinstated, I had to remove all of that content from the feed here on Patreon, as well as from Patreon builds of the game. It is no longer available in the versions downloadable currently, and it will not appear in any future builds. I am sure a lot of people have thoughts about this, but at the end of the day, it is Patreon's platform, and if I want to use it, I have to abide by their rules, regardless of my own feelings on those rules. I complied and the page is now back, and that is the important thing.
On to the good news, the release is well on its way to being done. I already have one event in from Roland and whimrho and Gern are almost done with more. Rein is also working away, and I am going to have my scene done by the end of the week as well (I would have gotten it done by now, but I had to deal with fixing the page issue). On the art front, Sommy is busy rendering MDN's CGs, and then he will start on his own. The suspension caused a bit of a hiccup on that front, so I'm going to start posting the sketches for the backers today and I'll probably have to do a little double posting to catch up as the release is rapidly approaching us.
The release should be on the 29th of this month, but I am out with my family that day doing birthday stuff, so I can't do my usual last-day cram. Therefore, it will be released on Monday, the 30th, instead.

Yes, Sommlier also did the art for the developer's other game Jessica's Curse and some of BBBen's game Lord Goblin.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut..... it is very unlikely that if you didn't like SoC you will like these other titles.
Jessica's Curse is the same sort of slut focused content as Alexia's side of SoC, but with a lighter atmosphere. If a female POV fuck-fest appeals to you better with the darkness taken out / attempted humor you might like it. Otherwise, it is more of the same. I also suspect it doesn't get updated that much- though...I don't really follow the title outside of following the developers.
Lord Goblin is lightly coercive where you play as a wimpy main protagonist like SoC, and get pressured into NTR by stronger characters ect. If playing as a Goblin MC / Imprisoning humans and banging them appeals to you this title might have some extra draw.
p.s. I agree that the artist is the best thing about the game.

That's not easier, it's harder, especially if you consider they will keep working in the "original version" for Steam and Subscriber, they would need to do 2 alternative pieces of art every time.
Still a better option tho, until Patreon is forced to change their guidelines again.

Well if Greyhide is gone that really sucks for me because his howife stuff with Alexa was the reason I play the game.
Same, pretty much the only reason I follow this game is the possibility of further development between greyhide and alexia, their romance is actually plausible given the scenario. I'm not really into R#pes, coercion, quick fucks and downright freaky shit, so it makes sense why im into him and alexia's story, besides that consensual beauty and the beast thing they have is rare in the AVN community.
Greyhide threesome and forge scenes and the succubus group scenes are the only things i played the game for. Now half of the content i like is gone. And the other half is not being developed. So i don't really care about this game any more.
Someone ask the dev if the steam version will still have the scenes, I couldn't even mate with the werewolf, only with his daughter, and I didn't even want to do anything with the fox girl
Steam/GOG and SubscribeStar should keep the furry content without problems tho
Oh my god... I was horrified to see the remade art... WHY?! What patch did this start with? I want to try to find the old version...

This kind of thing has happened before, it'll happen again and it won't stop happening until patreon is abandoned en masse for another service where it'll start back from step one. It's the "What are you doing, landlady's friend's son?" problem only with furry dong. Sooner or later there'll be a patch we can download that will put the content back into whatever version leaks.
Don't want to shill it but at this point with credit/payment card companies dictating what is wrong/right I think its time to move into crypto based payment methods. Its not perfect but at this point what are the options.

If greyhide was an Orc or a troll it wouldn't bother me, even better if greyhide was an old Orc in the first place. Like i said, i follow Grey x Alexia for the consensual beauty and the beast type romance/sex, which can be Alexia X any monster (orc, troll, goblin, etc) and not specifically because Grey's a minotaur.somehow, you furry people are a to blame about all this.

Well, instead of removing Greyhide they can just remake him into an orc or ogre. There's a big void for Alexia when it comes to green ones despite them being present in the castle en masse. It will be a lot of work to redraw all the arts and to rewrite his plot but it's still better than just removing him. Also it will be great opportunity for them to keep working on 1st act longer and for ppl here to complain that it's been 10 years and we're still at act 1.
