If you are playing in the Patreon version you can't (scenes got removed due to new Patreon guidelines) try the Steam or Subscribstar versions.
I'll believe that things actually get streamlined when it happens, but it's good to see that Venus Noire actually seems to understand that the scope of SoC needs to be reined in. Now if only they'd realized that storylines like Alexia's NTR arc with Andras have gone much, much further than they should have in the first act of a three act play.A quick update about the state of the game.

I don't agree. I think act II could be a more public portrayal of Alexia's corruption; right now it's all hush hush, but Act II could have her almost openly side with the twins. A dramatic event happens in Act II, and then in Act III you can either have redemption, or the complete fall.

Man this dev... when they miss a deadline, it's not by a few weeks or even months, it gets moved an entire year! Wish my work deadlines were this lenient.
At the end of Alexia's NTR arc in act one she despises Rowan, is fiercely loyal to Andras, and little to no effort has been made to hide it as rumors abound within the castle. Rowan is well aware that Alexia has turned slut and is given plenty of opportunities to show complete and utter disdain for her. It reaches a point where it's hard to even call it NTR anymore. Alexia's end of act one NTR status should have been her end of act two NTR status.

You are out of your mind. Any chance at redemption has been blown past already in fucking act one, you're framing the arc like it's still Andras blackmailing her into jerking him off. Either you're misinformed or just want your favorite ship getting an absurd amount of content.
And her openly siding with the Twins would matter how? Really the only arc left to Alexia after Andras NTR would be for her to try to manipulate Rowan to Andras' favour. Or I don't know, some straight up humiliation scene in which a Pure Rowan will just off himself and a corrupt Rowan would just kill her.
The Alexia Act 1 NTR arc should have ended with her willingly having sex with Andras with no blackmail or duress. And then her becoming his slut could be developed down the line in Act 2. In the final act when Rowan would get his chance to make a stand against the Twins or attempt to take over from them, a full NTR Alexia would stab him in the back as the culmination of her arc (and a corrupt Rowan would kill her for betraying him)
Also, there should be more chances to redeem her imo.
The problem is, she is already there. She'd betray Rowan just to get a chance to clean up Andras' dick after he fucks one of his whores at this point already.
And don't get me wrong, the scenes are hot and well done. Just they could have been spaced out more.

Everytime i see Alexia NTR TITS, they are magnificent.

Anyway the recent Patreon post clearly states what's the roadmap, so always complaining about the length and the time etc. is becoming a bit pointless.
Scope creep can be a real project killer (although in this case it's more like they already had a gigantic mess and has to take the time to prune down instead)
The map and weird skill check thing makes sense when you consider the original inspiration to the whole mess was CoC. Personally I'd just use the map as a general background (like help player to visualize the world and whatnot) and just select location from a list when you use the portal.
Hopefully they do enough streamlining to speed up the completion of act 1 and move on to the 2nd one next year.
Looking at that roadmap though and how much content makes it on each update, no way are they doing all that in six updates. No way. They'd need 4-5 updates just for the epilogue.
Seriously when have we gotten more than 2 events in the same content arc in one update? Or more than one in something more complex like Astarte? We will at best be done with Astarte by May. Rastedel and the epilogue won't start being worked on before that.
