Yeah, that's the end of the ongoing story and it's been sitting there for quite a while as the dev fills in the blanks in terms of side content. Sooner or later, probably later, they'll finish up the remaining content and move on to act two. I'll believe it when I see it.The end of the content is when rowan conquer rastedel?
I have let the weeks go by and nothing relevant happens
You mean this Act, before the end of this year hopefully, the other planned 2, who knows, 2030, 2050, 2077...Game has been out for over 8 years now, how long till it's done?
That is what I have been saying every year for the last 5 years. I highly doubt this one will be it. The Gobbo's arc is still in process with no end in sight, then we have the Fae, Helyana, Jezzara and X's arc... We may see two of those finished by the end of next year. You mean this Act, before the end of this year hopefully
Goblins were such a waste of time seriously. You could even argue the fae were a wate of time that added 2 years of dev time on.That is what I have been saying every year for the last 5 years. this game is abandoned actually. so yeah it is never going to be completedI know this asked all the time, but now that 2024 is over and they said they wanted it completed some time in 2024 (after expanding game and game having issues in 2022)
Is this like never going to be completed or is it almost completed or what ?
Source?this game is abandoned actually. so yeah it is never going to be completed
The plan is to finish it before the end of 2025 now, and by "it" I mean Act 1, they already moved part of their team to work in part 2, they plan to do significative changes to make the development process faster by removing problematic mechanics and features that required a lot of extra time to deal with, there's not much left to do with Arc 1, its only a matter of finishing the remaining quest lines and polish the game for a "Final" release.I know this asked all the time, but now that 2024 is over and they said they wanted it completed some time in 2024 (after expanding game and game having issues in 2022)

It's being milked indefinitely for $$$ with unfulfilled promises and a snail's pace, unfocused development. You can either cope or accept it.I know this asked all the time, but now that 2024 is over and they said they wanted it completed some time in 2024 (after expanding game and game having issues in 2022)

Hold your tongue... fingers... whatever. Any time used for more short stacks with big tits is not time wasted. The problem with Seeds of Chaos is, and will likely always be, unprofessional developers. I don't mean that as an insult, what I mean is that with a professional project you have deadlines, you have a development pipeline that dictates work flow, and you have people in charge ensuring that specific goal posts are met in a specific order. Unfortunately crowd funding allows anyone with an idea and zero experience to make their dream project and people with passion for a project are rarely able to keep control on scope and fewer still understand how to develop a video game properly and within a specific time frame. I don't fault Lord Arioch for not being a professional development team, it's simply why they're not finishing things quickly.Goblins were such a waste of time seriously. You could even argue the fae were a wate of time that added 2 years of dev time on.
because they got many ways of earning $ on this which was going to be done in 2022 then decided to expand from I guess getting a lot of $ to be completed in 2024 and yet still being reduced and unfinished in 2025.*insert Revengeance/Maxxor clip here*
Lots of people like to complain about games and saying they're abandoned even as we get new content more often than a lot of other popular games I could mention. No idea why this one is getting this treatment though.
See here is my disagreement.because they got many ways of earning $ on this which was going to be done in 2022 then decided to expand from I guess getting a lot of $ to be completed in 2024 and yet still being reduced and unfinished in 2025.
Two months after the last one, in the last weekend of that specific month is the usual iirc.when is the next update expected tho, does anyone know?
Should be Jan 26. I'd expect it at 31 thoughwhen is the next update expected tho, does anyone know?
In defense of their content output... how many members of the team are there? Depending on what SoC pulls in across its crowd funding it might not be pulling in enough to pay a livable wage thus forcing the members of the team to keep their day jobs.See here is my disagreement.
First off, they still produce content. Definitely not enough content for the size of the team and the fact that updates are only every other month, but still make multiple events per update. Second, they have so much more content to cover. They could be stretching it out forever and still keeping it moving since they are still in Act I of 3.
I don't want to make assumptions but probably most of them have a full time job outside of this.See here is my disagreement.

Most likely. I can see Patreon and similar income options working for someone that lives somewhere with a fairly low cost of living but not for everyone. Chance that you can make a living if you live somewhere expensive in US or Northern Europe is slim, you'd need to be making crazy cash.I don't want to make assumptions but probably most of them have a full time job outside of this.
