It's been quite some time since I haven't checked on this title so I'm curious... is the m/m content decreased or increased (or stayed the same) in the recent updates (say, during this year)?

I complained about this some time ago. The devs here frequently mentioned that the players should have the option to decide the sexuality of the characters they play, but I guess that doesn't involve the slight nuance of M/M stuff. I don't expect that to change sadly.
Among castle characters, Rowan still defaults as submissive/bottom to Greyhide, despite Greyhide himself being submissive to both Rowan and Alexia even outside their sexual relationships. The only time Rowan has the guts to lead is during one of the threesome scenes after the Andras conflict and I'm not sure what the explanation for that is. I think Greyhide is being mishandled and reduced to just big minotaur dick. This is just my opinion here, but it feels forced.

I don't care how much effort goes into it, there's no excuses for making/releasing a game like this. Ridiculous. I played (and quite enjoyed) it a year or so ago but when I saw the development progressing at a snail's pace and the creators constantly changing and overhauling things, I said ''screw this'' and never touched it again. I hope the 15 year wait is worth it, folks. We never waited this long for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and yet some people will wait for a fucking porn game
You can't compare it to a fucking commercial video game made by Square Enix, that's absurd. And Seeds of Chaos is probably the best done fantasy 2D game there is around, period, though I don't really know that many.

That's the point. People are giving it a pass *because* it's a smaller independent thing, even though that's no excuse. The amount of times they've fucking added something worthwhile or progressed the main story in any way..I can count them on one hand. That was my point. This thing has already been going on for over 5 years and it's not even halfway done! I doubt it's even a third of the way through...I remember someone mentioning that they're still on Act I. What?!? And for what?! A freakin' porn game...

That was most certainly not your point as it is completely incompatible with your point. FFXIII Versus was canceled and the remnants were turned into something else, which did not go through the same level of development hell that Versus did. You're using an example that is inherently different from Seeds of Chaos, made by a team of hundreds of people with experienced as opposed to a small handful people who quite honestly have no idea how to properly develop a video game. This is a patreon funded project and as a result is not something that can be compared to any kind of professionally developed and published project. Your example ignores the actual method in which the games are developed, how many people worked on them, the external forces they had to contend with, and many other elements of game development. Your point is without merit and quite frankly is moronic.

Dunno about Versus XIII, but I've always felt that regular XIII was only good for the porn people made of it.
ALL porn games are essentially shit fap material, I don't know why you would think otherwise. Some just happen to think they're above that when they're not.
