There is no reason. In fact, it is a lot more difficult to do the same shit in Unreal as in Unity. What you can do as a solo project in Unity requires three staff in Unreal, unless you're a game development god.

It's amazing how badly this runs considering it's not using lumen, nanite, or any kind of global illumination or reflections (they're all cubemaps)
On UE4 this would have probably ran fine even if they fucked it up.
Edit: I have a feeling they fucked up the animation update rate.
