It depends on whether the dev is actually present on F95 or not too. At least in my experience, I would never comment on a game on here unless I actually enjoyed it to any degree.
In the context of the first part of his post (which is funnily enough a demand in of itself) there WERE a few cases of gay, futa, or pregnancy content being added due to "demand", and the games suddenly shifted priorities completely.
IMO I feel like pregnancy kinda gets hit unfairly, but I get that "pregnancy" content generally means an entire system built around it, and not the character having a baby at some point in the story.
Yeah, I’ve played games I initially liked because they had a consistent theme, but then they suddenly started checking off boxes—where every scene is a different niche fetish. I thought, even if I liked one of those fetishes, I wouldn’t want to play a game that only has one scene I enjoy and twenty-five scenes I don’t.
When I made Serenia, my goal was to keep a consistent tone and type of content throughout. I knew from the start the game wouldn’t be for everyone, and I’m sure plenty of people saw the first scene and immediately noped out. That’s fine. My hope is that for the people who do like the game, they really like it.
That said, I’m always open to requests and feedback. But if something doesn’t fit the story, or just isn’t something I’m interested in, I probably won’t add it.
As for pregnancy, it exists in the world, but not really in the gameplay-mechanic sense. There are pregnant characters, but it’s not a system or focus of the game, so I’m not sure if it officially counts, haha.
