I get what you’re saying, and honestly, I agree to some extent the original concept definitely stood out more with the taboo theme. But the reality is, making a game with explicit incest elements today basically kills any chance of monetization. You can spend months working on a game and end up with zero return, or even a loss.

If you know of any recent game that’s still making money while openly using incest themes, I’d be genuinely curious to check it out because as far as I’ve seen, platforms either ban them or cut off payment entirely.

This situation isn’t really about game design anymore. It’s the result of stricter platform rules, pressure from payment processors, and unfortunately, decision-makers who can’t (or won’t) separate fiction from reality. So instead of risking the whole project, I had to make some changes to keep it alive...
Just thought I'd add my suggestion. Not trying to argue or anything, so i apologize in advance if unwanted.

But you could do something similar to what someone else suggested with a patch. So you keep going with the rebranding and all that, but at the same time work on a "patch" that you upload, to sites like this one, that allow that content. So whenever the game is finished you will have the rebranded one for retailers but also have a free patch available somewhere for people to change it to how you envisioned it. If anyone complains then you just call it a mod to your game and nothing to do with the official version.
The biggest problem then would be the extra effort. I'm no dev so i can't judge how much extra effort it would be.

Thanks for the suggestion no worries at all, I really appreciate the respectful tone.

I’ve actually been thinking about that kind of solution too. It’s definitely a bit more effort on my end, especially with keeping two versions synced during updates, but yeah, having a “mod patch” that restores the original vision while keeping the main build platform-friendly could be the best of both worlds.

If I decide to go that route, I’ll probably host it on F95 or a similar site, and make it super clear that it’s unofficial content. Thanks again for the idea!

Glad my suggestion didn't come off to backseaty.

But yeah if the effort is to great, you could always think about asking some volunteer to do the patches. Surely there is someone who would do it and its probably not that hard to explain it to them (again not a dev so only speculating).

Basically yes. UE is friendly in this things/adding patches... It would be enough if the game supported TL/localizations, then some modder could add "Uncensored TL" and Sabley would not be involved in it at all.
No extra work for the dev and absolutely unofficial clean work.

Not usually my thing, but I have a fondness for 3D H-games.

Personally, Yandere has always been a bit of a mixed bag for me. I like the idea, but it sometimes goes in a way that just too much for me, like the girl cutting off the dude's dick and making taxidermy out of it. Eeh. Thing game hasn't gone "too" far for me yet, though.

In terms of the changes, it honestly made me laugh at how obvious it was simply a sticker over the title and a bit of the dialogue. But hey, if it let's you keep making money, that's great. I do think some people on itch who find this post-indexing might feel jebaited by the title once they start the game and realize what's going on.

I agree with what others said, the s... sorry, "girlfriend" element the game had originally did give the premise a bit more spice than usual. Not even sure why that is, but it works for sure.

My pedestrian criticism, which broadly covers basically every 3D H-game, is I always wish they had just a tad more freedom. Like in this for example: being able to hide the pills in another place in the house. When stuff like that doesn't exist it makes the game feel extremely on-rails and like you're forced to play along with the plot. I get that freedom like that is really hard to program, which is why it doesn't happen often. I think stuff like that adds an extra layer to the horror too, because imagine if the player was able to hide the pills a few times, but eventually they find a blood-soaked messaged where they hid them.

My suggestion would be that the "girlfriend" having a larger wardrobe would be cool (I would suggest general body/face/hair customziation, but I think you want her to have a set look as a complete character.)

Can't you make her a stepsister or at least give players a role choice? There are enough loopholes to allow it.

The version you're currently playing couldn't be played by people on Itch.io, which is why I had to revise and re-release it. The only audience that was able to play the current version was the one on F95. And if you have played it, you may have noticed changes in the dialogues and voice acting.
Other than that, I've been constantly switching between Blender and UE5, which is taking up an enormous amount of my time leaving me with almost no time to refine or decorate the models.
Honestly, working with someone who knows Blender would really speed things up and help get the game released faster.

You could be less direct about the relation and title....easy fix.

Um... I can't open the door to leave my room. Now I feel like I'm mentally deficient somehow. :/
I have the same problem, while playing a new game, after you interact with the "?" marks, I can't seem to open the door to my room like something is blocking it or opposes my try to open it ( the door opens partially until I cannot push any more). I guess it's a bug? Sabley Games

Ok, It seems I managed to fix it. The problem occurs when the colors change to yellowish in your room, if the room has a yellow tint to it, delete the game, reinstall it and it should repair itself.

Sabley Games pls ong please add a skip dialogue option in the future or a way to make it faster cause its so slow and replaying it makes it so much harder
I can’t skip the scenes because the game would lose all its meaning, but instead, I can make it so that when you press the X key, it speeds up even more. Right now, the scene skip speed is about 2x or 2.5x, and I can increase it to 4x.

just keep walking into it. it's slow opening and heavy feeling but it opens. once you get past it, the rest of the doors open normally. it's not anything you really need to uninstall for. it's a minor bug.
