VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Sexbot [v1.6 Final] [LlamaMann Games]

Hey! This is my first review and I'm excited to tell my opinion on a game.

First, I would like to say that this game is on a very good start. Obviously there is still a lot to add and improve, but to enter the story universe, its very good. Like all reviews, I will enumerate the pros and cons according to me.

Pros
-The graphics are top notch.
-The base story idea is very good, a little unrealistic but still pleasant.
-I'm a big fan of the fact that we can change everything, names, relations, the robot characteristics, etc.
-The characters looks great.
-For now the game have plenty of sex scenes.
-There plenty of animation and I'm a big fan of it.

Cons
-The music feel a little bit out of place, at some point its a great addition but it's a bit redundant.
-Melvin makes me uncomfortable, I know he's important to the story, but he makes me want to hang up right away every time.
-I find the characters a bit too empty, they have no real story, and they look like they act without emotion and without thoughtful thoughts.
-I think the look of the bodies is a bit unrealistic, I find them a bit too thin.
-No real story yet.

I know this game version is 0.3 (alpha), and that why I'm writing this to give my opinion on the things to improve. For sure the story and the characters personalities will be worked on a lot more. Finally, I can't wait to see the rest of the story and see how it's going to turn out.

P.S, I will probably change my rating in the future, following several updates. The game will be improve as my rating.

One of the best games I played in a while. Sexy, creative, high quality renderings and fun scenarios. I saved before all decisions to see all scenes in a time efficient way. I can't wait to see what the developer is going to do to increase this even further. A real gem.

I legit cannot praise this game enough. Sexbot is a masterpiece of pornographic content and absolutely deserves your playtime and all the support it can get.

In my reviews, I usually address the porn content near the end, but the sex stuff is what this game does best so I have to address it first.

• First off, all the girls look hot asf, at first I did not like the look of Sam (the sister), but she grew on me. Alexa, Lexx, and especially Emily (the mom) are all fuckin hot. Each of them all has their own sexual vibe or trait that makes them even hotter. Emily has massive tits and a fat ass, Sam is petite and has a nice ass, Alexa is a big slut, and Lexx gives me some mysterious Amazonian vibes. All huge turn-ons.
• The sex scenes in this game are superb. Great animations and jiggle physics. A wide range of fetishes so the sex scenes don't feel repetitive. Incest is always hot. The dirty talk is great. The scenarios are fun and unique. And holy shit the aheago is amazing. Lastly, the sheer number of sex scenes in this game is crazy and I can't wait for the day MC gets to bang his fam.
• One complaint is that changing the relationship with Emily to "Mom" doesn't make the MC call her "mom", he still calls her by name which takes me outta the moment.

Alright, writing, story, and characters.

• The writing in this game is pretty damn good. I don't know if the writer is an English speaker but the English in this game is very well said with well-used slang, colloquial language, humor, references, and just plain good grammar/mechanics. I only found a couple of typos.
• The story is simple but works in extremely good favor for the tone of the game. I found myself rootin for the MC to accomplish his goal. I like how the game established the goal of the story at the beginning so we, the reader, can gauge how much content is left.
• As for characters, no complaints, they are pretty standard but they are funny and likable. However, the standout character to me is the MC's robot, Alexa. The writer wrote her perfectly. It's so easy to make a robot porn character a mindless machine that is essentially just a sex doll for the MC, but making Alexa a humourous, conniving slut makes her stand out and super likable.

Gameplay

• Thank god this game isn't a sandbox, but I feel this game would be better as a kinetic novel, or just have fewer choices. Choices in this game don't affect the next major choice, they just prevent you from picking other current choices. Because of this, the game could just be restructured into a kinetic novel where a different sex scene with the girls happens on a different day rather than the system we have now. Because of the current system and me wanting to see ALL the sex scenes, I found myself saving and loading and saving and loading just to be able to do this.

Conclusion

• Don't ask any questions and just download and support this game. If you like porn, you'll like this game.

Absolutely quality game. The pacing is great, there's always a decent amount of sexual content so you aren't playing the game for a half hour before any scenes appear like some other games. There are 2 main routes so there's a decent amount of content for everyone to enjoy, at least several nut's worth in each route, even more when you get to the sub-routes within each route. Overall a lot of content for a 0.3, love to see where this goes in the future.

I was perplexed by the missing "Humor" tag, because I think that's where this Dev is going with this game. A "Sex Comedy" game or something of the sort.

Story:

Nerd can't get laid, discovers friend who is also a nerd and can't get laid has a "Sexbot". Friend buys fellow nerd a sexbot of his own and that's where the story begins. I have to say it took me by surprised the "Teacher/Landlady" wasn't the actual sexbot because she definitely fits the bill of the plastic-artificial look herself. MC programs the Bot to "Obey" him, the family finds out, next thing you know they wanna fuck the Bot themselves, the landlady mainly.

There isn't a whole lot to the story, as I mentioned it tries to be funny, the ladies are the usual group of sluts the creator is hell bent on letting you know just how slutty they are from their past, as if the player themselves couldn't figure it out. At times I wondered who was really the MC of the game the Sexbot, our MC or Melvin because there's a lot of content for them. Forced content and heavy humiliation scenes at the MC expense will turn some people off, I myself laughed at it because it was what I expected from an MC who looks like this, so I blame myself for indulging in this type content thinking it would be different, the title alone speaks for itself.

But gamers who just wanna have a laugh should jump right in, because it may be a diamond in the roughfor them.

Render:

Grainy at times, but pretty good.

Characters:

They say looks can be deceiving, but not in this case. Nerd MC is an actual nerd. Bimbo nympho Landlady, with high body counts, daughter of nympho that's following in Mommies footsteps. Melvin is what you could expect and the same for the Sexbot.

Gameplay:

No real bugs or issues, it appears to be programmed well. The content is scarce to choose wisely.

This game is so fun , I loved the character Alexa gives a lot of diversity to the game . I had to choose all the options to see the scenes (+ humor), they're great!.
I also liked the faces of the characters when they're excited haha .

Version 3.0.

A quick overview of the game.
This is a sex comedy, the game absolutely does not take itself seriously, if you could not tell from the dorky demeanor of the male MC. The developer has said that he does not want to stick to tropes when he is writing this so what you get is something that does not stick to any sort of preconceptions beyond a completely out there sexy comedy.

Visual:
Renders for the most part are great. There are a few that are super grainy, like whenever someone enters the pod (Sam) the black of it gets super grainy on my display. The animation is a bit stop motion for the most part. Some of the later scenes have actual animation but not the earlier ones. The character design is good, though the mom seems like she has had a few collagen shots around her large lips, which I personally dislike but the sister, alexa, and Lexx are all banging characters. MC is designed as a thin dweeb, but that's the joke so there really is no helping it. Hopefully we'll get a "ugly duckling" situation and he'll get a glowup.

Choices:
The developer has put in a plethora of options for choices in, which is good! The downside to that is that unless you reload and explore all the options, the game is going to be rather short. Some of the options are awesome, the bunny suit's looks great, just need some stockings/pantyhose and its an A+ scene. The one thing I did not like in regard to the choices though is that the majority of the choices seem to be making the MC the butt of a joke or removing him entirely from the equation so Alexa (the sexbot) can have fun with the other girls. Now I do not mind girl on girl action in the least, but when its the Mom or Sister getting further with the MC's sex bot than he's been able to, there is something off here.

Relationships:
The other thing, being that this is a sex comedy, there is no real sense of relationship at all beyond the one you input yourself.
Everyone just kind of plays with everyone else.
In most of the options, your mom is trying to fuck the sex bot, the sex bot is trying to fuck one of the girls, or there is some hilarious mishap that makes the MC the butt of a joke and instead of him having any sort of sexy time with any of the 3 females in the house, he gets to watch them use a toy instead. I get that this is suppose to "build the anticipation" but the way its played for laughs, usually at the MC's expense, definitely a weird feeling. Also, when the MC actually does get to have fun, its usually a pretty quick scene (Alex hidden BJ, Sam gloryhole) where as the other ones just felt longer.

The other thing about the relationships, you shouldn't expect any blushing virgins, besides the MC, that is. The mom is low key characterized as a massive whore in at least one of the options, apparently she fucked her entire college football team as she tells the MC while jacking him off before going off to "Help motivate" the local team like the old days, Alexa says the effect is only lasting 20 minutes so MC shouldn't worry about what trouble she could get into in that time...
So while the only other male character so far is at another location, one shouldn't exact any sort of fidelity with MC and the women in his life, this is a sex comedy.

Forced Content:
So, the gorgeous looking girl with the visor and the dorky looking kid with the bowl cut are Melvin and Lexx.
Lexx is Melvin's sexbot, which sucks because she's the most visually distinctive character and she's completely off-limits to the MC. But that brings up my other problem, you do get to see Lexx have sex, after each scene with Alexa, you are forced to watch Melvin Fucking or playing with Lexx through a videocall as Melvin shows off to his friend (you/mc) how great having a sexbot is.... while you cannot use yours because she is "Calibrating".

I would comment on Lexx's personality but besides doing everything Melvin tells her to do, and her little camshow for the MC, we don't know anything yet. The camshow could tell us about her but considering it keeps cutting back to Melvin who is jacking it just off camera to her while doing the the camgirl show for MC says that Melvin was the one who put her up to it.... which is just weird and gross. Its like your friend telling his hot wife to do a camshow for you. Its disturbing.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lexx's look, her outfit during the Camgirl videocall was fucking phenomenal, but I don't want to be forced to watch her fuck someone else. Especially if she's going to be doing something with the MC at some point.

Overall:
The game so far is kinda all over the place.
There are alot of options for scenes, but they are all mutually exclusive so each playthrough you get like...4 scenes each, some of the options are absolutely better/more fleshed out than others though, and those may sometimes be the ones you wouldn't choose if you want the MC to get the most action.

So far it has all the silliness of Power Vacuum when it goes over the top but none of the grounded/caring relationships of that game. There are hints of it, like when the mom comforts the MC for wanking it because being so stressed out trying to get his bot to sync while also trying to find a date for prom but its few and far between.
If you are looking for something to see some sexy renders and comedy, its good. If you are looking for anything serious, its only middling, so far.

I really hope the game grows and gets a bit more focused on the MC getting the action and maybe takes itself just a tad more seriously and builds up relationships. Right now its not for me, but who knows what it can become with a bit of course correction.

You have a robot you could turn into a sex slave and you're what ? Forget to lock the room each day and doing hell knows what.

Idea looked good, but as always dev need dumb MC to take things slowly.

Super sexy game with great looking girls in lots of different outfits and scenarios. Can't wait to see more. Love the sexbot, love the sister, love the mom. Love the yoga/workout stuff. 10/10 will coom again.

Edit for v0.9.9:
The game has come a long way since my last review. Most characters still look like various body parts have been inflated with air, but I should've had more faith in the author in my original review; this game ended up justifying its quick/summary pace and using it as a pretty cool plot device. In addition to that, this game is also exploring a wide variety of kinks now. It's a huge improvement from my first playthough!

Decent if you're into the bimbo look and want to get straight into some action; turn around now if you're looking for a story or any kind of build up.

You start with a "live in teacher", some other alias for a sister, and a sex bot, and by the end of day 3 they're already either having sex with you or fucking themselves in your room with no real reason. That, plus the fact that Sexbot has a daily counter until prom that starts at 7 and it's already crossed off 3 days after about 8 minutes of gametime means this game is moving very fast with not a lot of substance or choices. I know it's only version 2, but I'll be very surprised if this game tops an hour of playtime by the time it's done.

On the plus side, the character models are nice (but, again, very bimbofied), the story has some funny and charming moments, and the speedrun pace means you're never stuck reading purple prose or exposition dumps. Overall, not bad; give it a go if you like girls with balloon tits and barbie faces.

This game has potential the character designs are good my only problem with it is quite specific.
Why not go all Wierd Science on the story. That TV show should be like a bible.
Either way, the origin of the sex-bot is not having enough mystery like a military experiment gone wrong or something to give it more of a dramatic feel.

• a lot of good sexual content, some appealing to the hardcore femdom; toys; fisting fetishes (that i'm not personally a fan of) but only to a minor scale
• casual plotline and inconsequential plot choices that offer unique sexual events

The story is nonsensical in style. And the VN does a good job at not taking itself seriously and through really attractive girls and lewd scenes (and lots of ahegao), it offers fapworthy content.

The robot's theme of calibrating would be god tier if it was legitimately being customized to the player's choices but I wouldn't say necessary since the content is already enjoyable as is.

Wow... I mean: WOW!
What a great start for a game!
I like the humor (and I can't stand it in 9/10 games), the awesome animations and the overall render quality.
The story is really unique, I like the interaction between the MC and his "best" friend.
It seems if there were options for NTR/ sharing, which I managed to avoid by choosing different answers- good!

I looking forward to further development.

This is an awesome and fun game, some points I'd like to standout:

Don't expect any grindy slow 'realistic' progress in this game, it's just a sex game, simple as they all should be.

Lots of crazy hot scenes even in the first parts of the game.

With all the vanilla porn games out there, this dev brings some fresh air with fantasy weird ideas that are somehow hot with the help of the awesome renders.

I have mixed feelings about the choice system, on one hand, it's super great that the different choices lead to many many sex scenes, on the other (idle) hand, it's kind of annoying making different branches of saves to watch the different scenes, I like to unlock all possible stuff without having to replay the game, but it's just a detail in this case cause I really enjoy this game.

Its a good game but i keep on getting "an exception has occurred" this is happening almost every second. Even with the first release, it was just as bad. If there is any way to get rid of it, it would help out alot. I do know that the recent release is a beta.

Excellently done animations. Image quality and models are more than good enough but could be better. Story is simple, doesn't take itself too seriously and focuses on providing the best framework for the porno content, while making sense and being kinda interesting and funny.

In short, the game delivers pretty much everything I expect to find on this website. My only (minor) criticism is the lack of a gallery given the branching paths lead to different scenes.

To the game dev: bully to you for making this and for god's sake don't change anything about the tone of the game going forward. It's working perfectly as a light-hearted nerdy porno fantasy.

Good start to the game, however I liked Melivins Sexbot more, I hope that the customization gets a wide variety , from like chosing hairstyles, boob size etc.
But other than that Im looking forward to whats to come.
So keep up the great quality work because in the end it'll pay off.
