it's funny how the dev has his face out in the open on his yt channel. he can get found and sued or worse he gets arrested for cyber crimes. and ip grabbers is a cyber crime.

that's not very smart.
if the regular mod can be taken down, the github source will definitely be taken down as well as github has done so in the past.
they should find another hub version to host the source, one that isn't as shaky as github is.
Very illegal to just say "ahhh we're spying on you" google has a long legal ToS and it still greats thrown out.
having an ipgrabber isn't really against the law per say from my perspective its the intent which he has clearly proven to be malicious that makes it illegal, in addition to the history of alleged doxxing i've read from this thread mojang might file a DMCA if the allegations were given more attention, as mojang should but lawsuit-wise nothing yet except copyright infringement for unauthorized use of minecraft to make a bad sex mod (civil lawsuit i think)
