The only way he can fix it is to remove the whole post dinner hangout scene, the story was going on a good pace right before this as well. The pacing and decision making is so wrong now.
I agree with you with every word, that wasn't what i meant with missed opportunity, for the NTR route the wife could have been flirted with by the boss, maybe he gave her his number, maybe she needed help with something in the future and contacts him. Something to build to a hot connection with wife and Boss.
Regarding the disappointment is that the NTR route doesn't really exist in this current update as you are forced to like and go along with your wife´s idea and if you don't, well you leave and I suppose that is the Love route. So the NTR route now is essentially the NTS route, huge disappointment

If you don't unlock the gallery or if you Start from the newest update, the gallery gives you hints *not very good ones* on how to get the picture. I believe that's NTR or NTS path

The boss could definitely be an "NTR guy", and I don't have any particular inside information on the dev's plans. It could be an issue as simple as trying to manage workload and to be able to put out consistent updates while he's building his brand. Too many branches and variations lead to lots of mouths to feed, and anybody who has been on this site for more than a minute knows the general vibe of complaints when one path is given more love than another.
It's early days, but it seems like
Ben = NTRS guy
Dave = NTR guy
Tom & Wife = swinging/love kink couple
It's still of course very early days, so there may eventually be multiple routes attached to these characters, but in the days of ch4 pre-alpha this seems to be the early strategy to get things rolling with the story.
It's definitely ambitious to be putting out a taste of new content every week or two (pre alpha followed by a couple alphas that each add a bit more stuff); and with a story that starts to incorporate a greater variety of paths involving a greater number of characters, certain things are most definitely going to be neglected in the short to medium term. Jen and Chloe in this pre alpha, for example.
It's most definitely a double-edged sword - developer wants to create something that feels customized to the player, but the time and effort required to service all the branches creates dissatisfaction among some of the players because their preferred options aren't getting enough love in the short term. We're all passengers on an airplane that is still under construction.
I'm pretty sure that we'd both agree that Zip has talent and that he's creating something that's better than most. Chapter 4 is still early days, and he's definitely responsive to feedback on Discord. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the NTR turns in a direction that pleases you, and you can think positive thoughts for me that Jen isn't going to vanish . . . I like her.

It's in ch.3. You use the app to download the pic Chloe didn't tell you about while you two text. You can see Mel making out with Dave while his hand rub her panties. Mel clearly let him do it despite telling you she didn't. I loved that detail.
