The point is Mel would be involved too. A lot of Netorase is one-sided, with the girlfriend/wife being the one doing everything while the guy gets off to it. Would be nice to see more Netorase where the girl is equally into the guy doing stuff with other people.
Is this all just that guy Ben and his friend for GF cheating/messing around? Really not into either of those options at all, so stopped playing. Much rather it be a stranger. Not friends & friends of friends or the Boss/co-worker situation that always comes up eventually in these sort of games. It's well-made so far, but I don't have much motivation to continue if it's just those sort of characters.
Sometimes beginner NTS couple are more kind to try with a boyfriend's friend for a first shot. Even it's not the more secure path at the end, where there are many risk than the gf falls in love. So you're right in a sense, it should have an option to avoid it from the start, but as foolish and naive it is to fuck with friend to stay in control, it's a common deadly trap for the couple.

I'm not really right or wrong, honestly. Nor did I intend to be. I really just wanted to know if there were other options so I can see if it's worth my personal while to keep playing. The game can be what it wants and still be great. And people will enjoy it for that. I just won't and don't want to waste my time.
As to what you wrote though, yeah. Complications-wise, it's one of the worst possible moves in that sort of relationship, but also a huge turn-off for me, which is more why I was hoping there'd be another option. Although the latter is possibly a result of the former. The only thought that stirs in my head at the idea of a friend, family member or co-worker/boss of either character in that situation is either a murderous or (in the case of these two 'friends') a contemptuous one. Yes, maybe partially because of the complications that it entails. Though I'm not really into the "rich arrogant asshole steals yo girl" situation either. Sleazy strangers or random thugs and service workers with a big dick for the win. Purely physical, with few other emotional/interpersonal complications.

I can't trigger the event itself where they take photo of Ben hugging Mel. When "I'll give you a hug" or "proper hug" is picked, it ends up with a kiss instead, because MC didn't notify Mel and she wants to get back at him. Problem is, in "give a hug" scenario, option to notify Mel isn't even shown, unlike with "Kiss" and "Show tits" routes.
Can someone tell me what the triggers are for the Netorare route? I've chosen the "mean" dialogue options with Melany to keep love low and selected every Netorare flagged choice but I always end up on the Netorase route.
