Zip posted something on the Super Supporters area of the Discord today that said that the camping trip is going to be more than one day. He didn't say whether the camping trip will be divided between Ch. 5 and Ch. 6 or if Ch. 5 just has a pretty substantial chunk of stuff left to go. He did mention that he stepped away briefly over the holidays and had been spending some time working on supporting mods.
No ETA has been given for the next pre-alpha drop.

It was irony, since what was released here is just a cracked leak of game in it's alpha stage of next chapter. There's no reasonable thing that would justify (other than milking) so slow, barely visible development of an AI game. This was promising during the summer, but now it's close to abandoned since probably next post will inform us about another pre-alpha-no_beta-preorder version ch.5 v.0.4.005abcdf or will feature another poll :/
I was a patron of this game for some months, so my frustration is even bigger since you would think that your support will actually help the dev and by that make the game better, but instead of this dev secured the game with some kind of drm, gave us modding tools and said to fuck ourselves (because development slowed down drastically)

So was I, but for me the reason I stopped was that merely being a "Supporter" I felt left out of the loop. Loyal and Super Supporters got alpha and pre-alpha access, but so did seemingly everyone else on F95. So you're just sitting there waiting and wondering if the beta-release is just around the corner or not. I'm glad for the modders though. The framework being made around the game is pretty awesome, and I'd like to try it out myself one day.
But Patreon is just for supporting development, you're not buying a product! Sure, and I've been doing that for a while, but now I chose not to. Perhaps later. I think the game is really good. Haven't tried those early parts of Ch. 5, still waiting for beta or public release.
