Ren'Py - Completed - Sexymon Adventures [R6] [Winterfire]

Just look at the screenshots, how could you disrespect MS paint. Seriously though "sexy"mon adventures this is not I don't know who is voting this game 4+ stars legitimately. Concept isnt bad but clearly there was no good means of execution.

The story was promising and the writing was better than I expected, but the art just really brings the game down. There are only a handful of images and the ones that are there are low-quality. If this game was re-skinned with better visuals I'd definitely revisit it.

That said, the story is also short and the gameplay relating to actually catching pocket monsters feels like a detraction from the main romance story. Overall I think this would have been better suited for a text-only format rather than a visual novel.

Mac Users: You'll have to re-arrange the Renpy files to get the game to start up, since the files are not in the right place in the download folder (game, autorun, etc.). Just copy the organizing-style of the Package Contents of any other Renpy game and you'll be fine.

A simple game with a cool story and characters that don't look like cardboard cutouts. I really liked this one.

I think the main argument against this game can be the art, but I honestly think the art looks good. It's not a Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece (that would be simply dishonest) but the anatomy is good and the overall quality is far from bad. Maybe I'm just bored of 3D models and maybe I'm biased because I tried drawing and sucked at it, but the art doesn't make the game any less enjoyable.

But let's put that aside for a minute and contemplate one of the few adult games in this website that doesn't look like it was written by an ape.
The story is pretty well written and enjoyable, and for me that's what separates porn from an actual adult game.

And last but not least, this is a pretty short story that doesn't try too hard to be edgy and relatable. You're not going to spend hours in front of your screen grinding for money or relationship points. You can fap and go on with your day.

I simply highlighted some aspects that people forget when playing an adult game, but when I read this now and look at the other games I've seen in this website, I almost feel like this one is better than half of them (except the Japanese ones because I almost never play them). That's why the 5 starts.

I've kinda seen quite a lot of pokemon H games but I rarely see (I think) a pokemon that has Incest. (Not that incest with pokemon breeding or something)
There probably some there that has but seems not all in "Tags" are accurate so i probably miss them out anyway,
The art is not that superb but who cares? xD
