I think it is fine; it's not overdone, IMO.
As a proofreader, I'm torn between the dialogue you are reading to look perfect in terms of grammar, punctuation, and syntax and what you are reading from the perspective of you in the MC's shoes. In real life, you don't speak in emojis (if you're a sane person).

It's the dev's choice; it works very well in phone/text games.
Something that burns my butt hairs are the members that complain that they don't like something ( in reality demanding you change it. ) To me, that implies they want every fricking thing the same, and they want every game to be the same... Booorring as fuc*, I think 90% of the members here were spoon-fed till they were kicked out of the house. (Sorry for the rant)
The punctuation in this game isn't perfect. But does that matter in the big picture? In some cases (not here), the lack of punctuation can give a misleading impression of what the speaker is saying.
I think there is a sweet spot regarding dialogue correctness in this genre. Too perfect can come off as stale and rigid, and too messed up can take you out of immersion.
This game is hovering around that sweet spot, IMO.
