the essence of the pirate forum is dead, devs are bossing the moderators around, dark times
At this rate, the pirate site will become a free advertising project for developers.
It's strange that moderators don't ask for money to control leaks.

Dev please do more support options
I think many ppl can't support you because patreon blocked in country

We haven't bossed anyone around... and most certainly have not contacted moderation about removing links even if we did have that power (which we don't). I think it'd be nice if people didn't leak immediately because a ton of work went into it and yeah I think we deserve compensation for that (Abyss in particular who is a productivity beast). But it's not in our hands you guys can do what you want ultimately.

It is a piracy forum, so you know, yarr harr.
I didn't say that this happens, I just said it based on what the other person said.

Hey, let's wait, it doesn't cost anything, I'm here, desperate but waiting;):ROFLMAO:

The version was released recently, some people can't afford it, but it can help the Dev by not releasing the link here so quickly.

If the supporters also from the forum, very likely it's going to be later that one of them will become a hero. Dev has been transparent how leak affects them. And also their paying for the early access and if their willing to pay that means they love the game and want to support so they can see the end of this game. So I don't think they wouldn't leak it that early, my assumption for the earliest if they really want to be the hero and share it to the rest that can't afford is probably a week after Chad. But we will never know, cause different people thinks differently. Just my take.

You saying that the $50 tier should get access before the $30 tier is something that applies within your Patreon — you can’t impose that rule on a forum where you have no control. If someone from the $50 tier decides to share the game here, it won’t make you lose patrons. On the contrary, it can increase your numbers because more people will appreciate your work.
They could lose potential patrons. You might have people on the fence about buying a tier because their are horny gremlins and then it drops on the website immediately and they decide they won't bother signing up. I do think f95 is a good advertising 'tool' though.

Just look at your own Patreon stats — you lose a few but gain far more. It doesn’t matter if your game gets leaked early or late, the demand always grows when it reaches an audience that doesn’t yet know your game or isn’t a patron. Even releasing it for everyone on day one — only a small group of entitled people get upset over the lack of exclusivity, and they represent 1% compared to the 99% you could gain.
For those who can't afford a Patreon sub or can't use Patreon in their region of the world, they can download the older version of the game right here on F95 if they want to check it out, just like everyone else.

So there's no need to give away the latest version as soon as it's available, and therefore it is unproductive to get on the dev's case about their right to distribute their creative work as they see fit.

The dev has an unusually high level of engagement with this community. Please don't threaten that by arguing with them about their method of distribution.

Nobody is threatening me, don't worry. I don't want people to be under the impression that I hate F95 or anyone who doesn't have the means to support the game, because I don't. I don't know how many times I have to tell people that.

All I can do is provide my point of view as a developer, who slept an average of 3 hours a night, because I was working on the game and wanting to provide you guys with a good product with no content missing. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect every single one of you, even if you hate the game and me for that matter.

Also to everyone here, I don't monitor the thread, I can't delete leaks, nor do I have staff members in my pocket. I am just like everyone else on this site.
