VN - Ren'Py - Shadows of Ambition [Ch1] [AbyssGames]

Great start. There isn't much content yet but dev is constantly answering questions so i am hopeful. Visuals and writing are all appealing. I just hope this doesn't turn into a Gigachad MC game and finds a good balance for NTS/NTR.

Although this version is just a tease the AI art , story and quality looks promising.

Hopefully we get more good quality characters and faster updates as there is not much content so far.

Great first chapter to set the tone, a very attractive style to look at and a story that has some potential for great content for sure.

Comparisons to MNGF are obvious, but as long as the content and characters stay unique and thrilling enough the comparison can only be a good thing.

Today, I had the chance to play this game
It has several strengths (Art, The hotness of potential LIs, Concept, MC) that others have already mentioned, so I won’t explain them

Weaknesses:

• It’s very similar to (I won’t write its name to comply with f95 rules). The similar art style is fine, but the interactions between the MC and FMC resemble those in (I won’t write its name to comply with f95 rules) too much, which isn’t good. It needs more creativity
  
  
• The story progresses too quickly. Out of nowhere, the FMC suddenly mentions NTS, which doesn’t feel logical
  
  
• The inner monologues of the MC are sometimes excessive and unnecessary. Try to make each line of dialogue enjoyable for the player. The purpose of a VN is to convey information through visuals. Inner dialogue should be reserved for expressing feelings and essential points only

If I were disappointed with this game, I wouldn’t be writing these things at all. It’s a good game, even with these flaws. I’ll play it again with the next update, and then I’ll share my final judgment in an edited review.

It's just 10 minutes of quite generic and unbelievable story. When i read "Today I'll finally meet my girlfriend in person" I started to wonder wtf is this, but when they just "accidentally" met each other I just turned this off. It's not worth it. Quite good AI art though.

I mean it is hard to not mention My New Girlfriend, since they are quite similar. AI art has improved a lot and this game is one of the better examples. Character models are quite good and somewhat relatively unique despite being an AI. AI also makes creators release more often updates so i hope that will be the case for this game too. Backgrounds need a bit more effort though, they are not game breaking but you can catch some mistake.

Story seems believable which (you may find this surprising) is quite hard to achieve. Most developers have hard time with understanding how NTS works, they either make it too cartoonish or too tame. This game manages to capture how it works in the real life.

I haven't encountered any bugs, UI seems clear. As long as dev releases frequent updates and keeps the quality on this level i see a bright future for this game.

It's a good game. The market for AI art netorase games feels a bit watered down right now, but this one offers a really unique and attractive main girl which is always a plus. The style seems similar to My New Girlfriend, which is making waves in the genre, and it doesn't have any glaring flaws. For now, I'd rate this game 4/5 stars, but it could still get a lot better or a lot worse depending on how the dev continues to update the game.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Alice and Kate though, as with 15-20 minutes of story, I'm already sold on both.

A very high-quality NETORASE game. I love this style similar to my new girlfriend. The kinetic novel allows the author to focus on uncovering the main fetishes. I liked the relationship between mc and girlfriend, they are very hot. I hope the development will be in full swing and this game will live on.
