Actually if that is accurate then imo cheating is the best route so far. Good to know ill check it out for sure.
I DL the 0.5 renpy thing (old not the new test/beta one) and clicked on "cuckhold" originally, but idk, the scene I saw looked legit like hidden cheating. But we'll see.

So far, I like the elements of the game that involve Cam and Jason being flirty, and if what you say about the general direction is correct than that sounds good too, would probably make for good corruption overall.

Let's hope the general gameplay gets a bit better, I feel like the renpy version is already a bit better, the RPGM is incredibly clunky. That being said ill check out the cheating route then some time soon. Thanks for the info

In terms of just lazy click and read to advance the story, REN PY is boring. But at least the update comes faster and easy for DEV to work with.

I find your assessment very interesting. It almost sounds like there is a lot of substance to the old RPGM version. But the version I played ends abruptly at the end of Freds birthday party and it doesnt feel like there is a lot of development before that. Yes there is like a handful of days, but it feels very rushed. It doesnt feel like I am playing an entire game, or half a game, or multiple chapters, it literally just feels like I play a single chapter. And the version at the end says that its 0.3c, but the description when downloading says it should be 4 chapters, and the renpy game starts saying that I should play the RPGM version and should have played 4 chapters. Its really confusing.

It is because the DEV focus on one update each for the paths on the same game file. What you finished in the RPGM is at the end of that update, and was suppose to keep going There is more free roaming and freedom to interact with in game mechanics with RPGM. However RPGM has a limit to its system and will eventually cap. Adding more stuff on eventually makes the game unstable and not manageable. Since DEV fuse all three paths, the RPGM system capped as the files got bigger. Honestly DEV should of create three separate RPGM game file calling each what it is, cheating, cuckold, and blackmail all with the same prolog. Should DEV cap, he can then create a new RPGM game files as part two or continuation and go from there. Or DEV could simply just create a new RPGM called SHADOW OF DESIRE 2 and repeat the three in game paths with a small prolog that ties things together as a intro, and simply branch off back into the three separate paths. But at last DEV went the other route.

Due to this the DEV move over to REN PY where it is easier to manage, and what do you guess start from scratch taking bits of the plot from the original RPGM. In REN PY he can focus strictly on story, art, renders and do not have to manage the in game mechanics of the RPGM. Since RPGM requires a lot of work. You lose the free roaming, game mechanics and suspense aspect of guessing out things for yourself while playing in game. But in turn you get faster update, more visual novel, animations, drastically improved arts, and point and click to move the plot forward. You also finish the game faster as there is nothing to do but point, click, and read. I preferred the RPGM but I do understand that it requires more works. Other just want to click and read. You make that call for yourself once you get into the REN PY updates.

Yea I prefer RPGM too, if it is done well. But dev hasn't used the RPGM mechanics in any meaningful way from what I have played, so it doesn't feel like a huge loss for me. One has to also keep in mind that there is a lot of RPGM games that have tons more content than that, the issue probably only exists because the dev used a certain RPGM engine that is not the newest (newer ones have far bigger caps) and did not properly manage the files. And as you said, they could have easily just made different paths and sequels, though Im sure it would be annoying to change gameplay things in one version then have to manually change them for other versions as well and do that constantly. But there are solutions for this. The work seems a bit shoddy to me in many areas. Not that I haven't seen worse.

P is a button for reloading game as I remember (in RPGM version). It helps when game stucked by bug (and can help when gallery button doesn't work).
Ahh cheers but, how do i access the map then? Im stuck at melissas apartment and cant find a way to leave the area. Probably being stupid but seems like ive tried everything.

Don't remember everything, but the game allow to go out if you have an opportunity. So you must be missed something in her apartment (sometimes you don't have an action mark).

Right now I can recommend you to check a walkthrough from the main post (it's in RPGM download section).

Yo, played the 0.4.4 renpy and the 0.5. I just downloaded the 0.4 (rpgm). Actually, im just wondering how to access the CGs/scenes im missing. someone said pressing G allow us to access gallery ? in which version ? does nothing in the 0.4(rpgm) and in the 0.5. I just would like to find a saves( with a working usable gallery) or even a CGs link for seeing everything. If someone can share it, thanks !

its normal that i feel more respect to the gang members than Jason and Junior ?
Yeah i think my biggest gripe with the setup is the Jason and Junior are presented as the most childish characters. They should be more imposing and intimidating with the storyline.

The RPGM covers chapters 1-4 and the RENPY game continues the story as the dev has switched engines. So if you want the full story you should play the RPGM versions first. If your not a fan of that engine there is an unofficial remake of the RPGM version converted in RENPY that you could try.
