This tool is used to extract JPG & PNG Files from *.dat files.
Usage: Open "SHS_Asset_Extractor.exe" & Enter Shale Hill Secrets Directory. Rest will be done by the tool.
Warning: Make sure that the Game Path does not contain any spaces or else the tool will not function properly.

it was because of a software used to convert the source into executable. I have now removed it and uploaded the orignal file with virustotal report.

Everything operates as the author instructs. The images are stored within the game files (files/images/...). When using the SHS Asset Extractor, this message appears:

"the file "00000000.dat" already exists
do you want to overwrite it? (y/N/all)"

Just type "y" and the program will continue as intended.

Love this! But would you be able to also upload a compressor please? I loved making minor changes to the images when they weren't compressed and now that I've found this I hoped to do that again but the game doesn't recognize the extracted files so I need to compress them again. Sadly I'm awful at coding and can't figure out Zlib.
