nvm not worry i check oatreoon daily
Depending on how he doing in rl. I say gibe it bout a 5 or 6 days could be longer. Not asking when the mod will be updated, just if anyone's tried it with the latest release (today) to see how it holds up. I'm late in a playthrough of 0.20 and was considering transitioning to the 0.21_Beta. Just not sure if it's safe to re-install the mod with 0.21 yet.
Edit: did some experimentation and I'll attempt to answer my own question here...
The mod when installed with 0.21 does allow it to load and run properly. Seems like most/all functionality through the phone and mod menu is available. I'm unsure however if it has any issues with the new content or changes to old content. YMMV - use at your own risk when mismatching versions.
I attempted to run 0.21_Beta (unmodded) with a save from a modded 0.20, and it crashes when loading a save, then forces a new game. Seems like the mod alters save data irrevocably, and means any save made with the mod is incompatible with future vanilla versions. Likewise uninstalling the mod from 0.20 and attempting to load the modded save with a vanilla game also errors out.
Edit 2: It appears (through investigation) that new LI and side-character content is locked out when using the 0.20 mod version with 0.21. "Coming Soon" is still displayed despite map icons indicating there is content in that location. From that perspective, the 0.20 version of the mod is incompatible with 0.21_Beta.
can I still use the mod even if it doesn't apply for the current version?Depending on how he doing in rl. I say gibe it bout a 5 or 6 days could be longer.
you could, but if you havent used it before, dont. like posted above your saves depend on it once you use it.can I still use the mod even if it doesn't apply for the current version?

I'll give it a shot. Thought I already tried the "cleaning" method, but perhaps not.1. Install 0.20 mod with 0.21 game.
2. Load 0.20 modded save and save it. (Back up your original save)
3. Remove the mod (game/mod folder)
4. Now you can load your save.
Sorry, I forgot one thing.I'll give it a shot. Thought I already tried the "cleaning" method, but perhaps not.
Edit: nope, that produces the same error and a forced game restart. Gotta wait for the 0.21 mod version to continue playing unfortunately.
Nope, still gives an error.Sorry, I forgot one thing.
You may need to open and close the mod menu once before saving. (#2)
like posted above your saves depend on it once you use it.
you should be able to use mod 0.20 with .21 without issue whats the error you getting when trying to load a save? and more importantly do you remember where you made the save? like in the middle of a scene or something? cause some label have been overridden so if you save in those label then try to load a save without the mod that would cause issue best to save when not in the middle of a scene and save in like your room or something. Not asking when the mod will be updated, just if anyone's tried it with the latest release (today) to see how it holds up. I made the modded 0.20 save while in the MC's bedroom at the beginning of a new day. It *will* load in a modded 0.21_Beta game just fine. And it *seems* like most functionality is there, despite the mod menu "m" telling me I've completed all content (which I hadn't - the main story arc still wasn't caught up to 0.20's completion).you should be able to use mod 0.20 with .21 without issue whats the error you getting when trying to load a save? and more importantly do you remember where you made the save? like in the middle of a scene or something? cause some label have been overridden so if you save in those label then try to load a save without the mod that would cause issue best to save when not in the middle of a scene and save in like your room or something.
as for characters coming soon well that just that their coming soon they haven't been added to the game yet without or without the mod that won't change
1, ya its going to say completed as it wasn't updatedI made the modded 0.20 save while in the MC's bedroom at the beginning of a new day. It *will* load in a modded 0.21_Beta game just fine. And it *seems* like most functionality is there, despite the mod menu "m" telling me I've completed all content (which I hadn't - the main story arc still wasn't caught up to 0.20's completion).
The other thing I noticed was that the new 0.21_Beta world map has icons for LIs/side-LIs next to locations. But none of those LIs/side-LIs have any content I can pursue - they are all "Coming Soon". Whether that was by design or not I don't know, but it seems very counter-intuitive by the dev to mark those LIs/side-LIs with icons when there's absolutely nothing you can do with them. And some of them are new LIs like the coffee shop or the diner girls.
The error only comes about when I try to load a 0.20 modded save in 0.21_Beta (unmodded). That's probably expected if the mod embeds it's data into the save, but if you'd like the error text it's inserted below in a spoiler:
