Atlus, the company/creators of SMT and Persona, are under the ownership of SEGA, not Nintendo. A lot of their games just happen to end up on Nintendo systems like the 3DS and the Switch.
Anyway, I hope this game gets completed. (Also if we don't end up with Super Pixie I will riot.)

Any porn game that takes on someone else's franchise has a chance of that, but Nintendo doesn't own that series - Sega does. If Nintendo owned SMT I wouldn't even try, but with Sega there's a good chance of staying on track.
Especially the game we have is completely free with only bonuses in the form of early access and cards. I've seen there are a couple of porn games based on Persona and they've been fine for a years now.
Yeah, even Sega could just shut down my project and their other projects at one point, no one can guess if or when. But I'm willing to take the risk to make a porn game based on my favourite franchise.

Huh, I had an idea for an SMT game just recently, although mine was smaller scope and only focused on 3 girls (Angel, Pixie and Lilim, representing Order, Neutrality and Chaos respectively) due to your character only getting a bootleg Devil Summoner program off of eBay. This looks like it could be interesting.

Reimagine got shut down maybe 2 years ago but there's stillHm, an smt parody huh, don't see that often.
But it's way too complex for a typical noob dev to try and replicate so, can't expect much from this i think.
I wish they'd bring the mmo back.
