Should I make the game announcement under this topic?

I’ve been developing my game for a long time and I’d like to share its announcement here as well. Since I’m not very familiar with the site, I wanted to ask first. (It’s not a playable version yet.) In 2–3 weeks I plan to share a trailer + introduction. But according to the rules and posting requirements, should I be doing it here?

Your other option, which arguably would have been more effective if done earlier, is to also make a Game Development thread and post there. Ideally, you'd do both.

(I also) Switched to my alt account real quick so it's allowed. At some point, once you release your game on F95Zone, you can create a ticket and request for a Developer Badge, this will give you access to the developers forum (and discord channel) which allow you to better communicate with other game developers and get help/suggestions/etc.

No need to delete yours, some developers also have a "normal" account.
