I tried out with MTool the translation is understandable, the only problem is the game becomes "slow" very often.

if you bought it then no all you have to do is re-download it when the game gets updated if you pirated then you have to wait for someone to upload the updated one which could take longer then if you just own the game.

Has anyone tried the playing the full game with MTL? If so it is good or should I just wait for translation.

I would recommend waiting till the game is finished + translated. Its going to take years but its worth it lol. I did the same for shrift 1.
