Sorry guys, but something's not right for me. The first time I played this game you could go Fernia-Necrosia-Dir Klou. Now I've started a new game (to catch up on scenes I've missed) and it's no longer possible to do this, but you have to go through Dir Klou to go from Fernia to Necrosia or vice versa. But doesn't that mess up the entire storyline and progression of the updates? I do not understand.

You can always advance through neighbors countries.
If you are in Eldrien, you won't be able to go to necrosia, for example.

I literally can't remember how I found this hidden gem but I sure as hell remember that it blew me away. The plot, the battles, the animations...the concept is there, it's just the execution that is...meh. Have been following the development for over two years now. I'd really love to see this in a somewhat complete state soon and on a major platform, if possible. I've left feedback on the itchio game page before and the devs have replied to me. Basically suggested they put any demo version on Steam. It runs on RenPy and is literally a VN, can't be that hard, right? Combine that with posts on socials and letting people spread the word and it will bring more attention to the game that way, no?
I understand the updates take long because there's literally two people working on the game but wouldn't it be a better decision to find a way to speed up the process at this point? I mean, half the content is already available! If only they would just focus on expanding as a dev team and promoting their stuff... Otherwise this game is doomed to stay fairly unknown and that'd be a real shame.

As both a former computer programmer, and as a project manager, I can assure you that adding new assets (programmers, artists, writers etc.) in the middle of development does exactly one thing. It slows things down. Adding these assets near or at the beginning is all right because the assets will get up to speed fairly quickly, but I would not advise it at this stage.
The problem is that the new assets need to be able to ask questions when they don't understand something, and explaining what is going on takes a LOT of productive time away from the current staff. With (I believe) only two people working on the project cuts productive time by about 25 per cent, while adding more could literally stop production for days at a time. This stop/start process will last around two months per new addition, slowing the team down for that length of time. The new assets will have to be paid during this time as well, spitting the take into smaller pieces.
It really is a nice idea, but should only be undertaken at the start of the project in order to minimize disruptions.

I'm aware, I study economics. I don't see where I said "hire people" though. What I meant is they should make a name for themselves. And make it to steam. Sure, the H scenes might have to go but an 18+ dlc or a free patch solves this. Anyway, point is I've seen (and read) VNs in RenPy on the platform. Made by a single guy too. So what's stopping the devs here..?
