TBF, I already have the habit to save at almost every possible choice that appears in Ren'Py games so it doesn't affect me as much, but I also have the habit to simply rollback instead of loading a save every single time I want to get to an earlier point (especially for scenes, but luckily there aren't any choices except for the ones triggering them here).with the new hotfix i saw that rollback will no-longer allow you to change your choices... wtf? who would think this is a good idea? every single mis-click will have to be rectified by reloading a previous save file. this is just tedious without any fun...
does anyone have a work-around for when this "fix" is applied to the next release?
Also probably worth mentioning here, but for the sex battles you can hide the UI and it will pause your hp bar and time bar from going down (but also hides everything else like when she is attacking you). Can be useful to to get to one click from defending against their attack and then hiding the UI to enjoy the scene.
But to get back to the initial point, rollback is one of the things Ren'Py is known for I believe, there isn't much of a point in disabling it when you can simply save and load anyway, rollback exists so that you don't have to load a save every single time you want to get to an earlier point, especially a recent one.
Similar to skip which exists to not just skip when you simply don't want to read the text but also skip repetitive elements like when increasing the levels of the girls, without it the game would simply grow more tedious than enjoyable because of the repetetivness, which is why I was annoyed by the bug where skip was disabled even after a certain sex battle has ended.
