I do not mean to be rude at all (this is not towards you, just quoting so that people can get this link easily), but I see a lot of people bitching about others asking for the latest build. I searched the thread and finally came to the conclusion that the latest build shared here is the 0.0.7. If you want people to stop asking about it, it would be wise to update the main post and sharing this link. The paid version is the latest, but it was not shared here for what I can tell, correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for sharing regardless.
Could you be a bit more clear on what your issue? This sounds like something that might be on your end and not the game's but I'm not sure. So what exactly is the issue?
First and foremost, there's no way to change and adapt the controls to your playstyle... It's locked on QWERTY.
So this is sounding like a you issue rather than a game issue. While I understand the issue and why it's frustrating, the demo is a very early version still and hasn't been updated in a long while, so adjustable keybinds were barely a thought. In that same vein, they also weren't accounting for different keyboard setups, so while that's not on you, you can't really blame the game for that either. (If you have a normal QWERTY keyboard and just play differently, then the ZQSD issue is something entirely different, but also not an issue anyone else has had, so that may need some more research.)
